IDF hits Gaza for 4th time after multiple attacks against Israel, IDF

 

IDF attacks four separate Hamas targets throughout Gaza in retaliation for rocket fire at the western Negev and rocket fire a short time earlier against IDF soldiers.

The IDF today (Monday) attacked Hamas positions and infrastructure in the Gaza Strip in four separate strikes.

The last air strike was carried out in the evening, with three Hamas installations in the northern and southern Gaza Strip confirmed hits.

The IDF spokesman said that “the attacks were carried out in light of events that have been occurring over the last month. The IDF holds the Hamas terrorist organization solely responsible for what is happening in the Gaza Strip and will not tolerate any attempt to harm the security of Israel and its citizens, and will work to preserve quiet for both sides.” Continue Reading »

Israeli Air Force (IAF) aircraft on Friday evening struck a terrorist infrastructure belonging to Hamas in central Gaza, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said.

A direct hit at the target was identified, according to the statement.

The airstrike was in retaliation for Friday afternoon’s rocket attack from Gaza on the Eshkol region in southern Israel, the statement continued, adding that Hamas bears responsibility for any rocket fire from Gaza on Israel. Continue Reading »

Gaza Rocket Hits Southern Israel – No Injury or Damage Reported

This is the second rocket attack reported on Friday by Gaza’a terrorists, but only one to have landed just inside Israel’s borders, not activating the alert sirens warning the local residence.

Terrorists in Gaza fired a rocket into Israel on Friday afternoon, where it struck the Eshkol region.

According to Yediot Aharonot, sirens did not sound in nearby communities; the rocket struck an ope field just north of Kisufim, and just inside Israel’s borders.

IDF forces are combing the area to find the strike site.

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) bombed several terror targets in the city of Quneitra, Syria overnight Tuesday, following a volley of rockets on the Golan Heights, Syrian media reported.

Between four and twelve people were killed in the airstrike; exact numbers have varied among news outlets.

Kassam rocket fired by terrorists from Gaza lands in an open area in the Shaar Hanegev Regional Council without causing injury or damage.

Gaza-based terrorists fired a Kassam rocket at southern Israel on Tuesday evening.

The rocket exploded in an open area in the Shaar Hanegev Regional Council, causing no physical injuries or damages.

Residents of Sderot and the surrounding area reported that they heard the “Red Alert” siren before the rocket exploded.

Israel Air Force returns night-time response to Hamas for earlier rocket fired from Gaza

IAF aircraft hit several of Hamas’ terror-related sites in Gaza, in retaliation for a rocket attack targeting the city of Netivot a few hours earlier.

Israeli Air Force (IAF) aircraft targeted several terror-related sites in Gaza on Thursday night, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement.

According to the statement, the airstrikes targeted a weapons facility and a terrorist center in northern Gaza, as well as a weapons storage site in southern Gaza.

Lebanese Jihadists: Rocket attack indicates resumption of war against the Jews

 

The Lebanese-based terrorist group that officially claimed responsibility for the rocket attack on northern Israel last week, said more attacks against the ‘Jewish conquerors’ will be forthcoming.

The Lebanon-based Azzam Abdullah Brigades, which claimed responsibility for the launching of four rockets toward the Western Galilee region last week issued a statement Tuesday saying the Ziad al-Jarah Battalion fired four 122-millimeter Grad rockets on its behalf toward “the cities of Nahariya and Akko in occupied Palestine.”

Israel Air Force Hits Terrorist Targets in Gaza Strip

An IAF aircraft  successfully targeted Hamas’ concealed rocket launchers in northern Gaza, in response to rockets fired onto Israel by local terrorists.

An IAF aircraft targeted concealed rocket launchers in northern Gaza on Tuesday night, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement.

Directs hits were confirmed.

“The IDF air strikes were conducted in response to the rocket launched at the civilians living in the Sha’ar HaNegev regional council yesterday (Tuesday) evening,” said the statement. “This is an absurd situation that would not be tolerated anywhere else in the world.”

16 rockets fired from Syria reported to have hit Lebanon

Lebanese daily reports no one hurt in 2nd attack of rockets which come amid Hezbollah’s unwanted interference into Syrian unrest.

More than 16 rockets were fired from Syria into Lebanon early Saturday morning landing in the Bekaa Valley region, The Lebanese Daily Star quoted a security source as saying.

There were no injuries in the attacks, according to the report, but a rocket did cause a fire to break out near the town of Sireen al-Fawqa.

The Daily Star quoted Lebanese state media as reporting that four Syrians had been arrested in connection with the rocket attacks.

Hamas tightened Gaza security with its Kassam Brigade to stop rocket fire

‘Asharq Al-Awsat’ reports Hamas deployed Kassam Brigade fighters to border, replacing local police in areas previously used for rocket launching at Israel.

Hamas has replaced policemen at the Gaza Strip border areas with fighters from its Kassam Brigades in an effort to stop rocket fire at southern Israel, the London-based Asharq Al-Awsat reported on Wednesday.

The paper quotes a Palestinian source as saying that Israel passed messages to Hamas through Egyptian mediators threatening to launch another large-scale operation in the Gaza Strip if the rocket fire doesn’t stop.Hamas’s Kassam Brigades have set up fixed and mobile roadblocks and have begun searching cars in areas near the border.

IAF aircraft struck a terror facility and a weapons storage site in southern Gaza on Saturday night.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement that direct hits at the targets were identified. All Israeli aircraft returned to their bases safely.
