Gaza terrorists fired two rockets on Israel on Saturday evening, hitting communities in the Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council area to the immediate east of the Hamas-enclave.

One rocket hit the “Denber” plastic factory in Sderot’s industrial area directly, causing a large fire to break out.

No injuries were reported from the strike, although the fire continues to rage as firefighting units struggle to put the blaze out. Continue Reading »

Hamas tells Israel: Don’t Attack Gaza Again, or We’ll Attack Haifa

If Israel attacks Gaza, Hamas will attack Haifa, a member of the group threatened on Wednesday.

Speaking at a rally in Gaza, the deputy head of the Palestinian Legislative Council Ahmad Bahr warned Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu against making a “silly move” which may result in an escalation in Gaza.

“The resistance will not sit idly by, as it has combat capabilities and missiles that will hit Haifa if the enemy attacks the Gaza Strip,” Bahr declared. Continue Reading »

Earlier, two rockets were launched from Gaza at Hof Ashkelon Regional Council. Two were intercepted by an Iron Dome anti-rocket defense battery. A third rocket fell at Sdot Negev Regional Council, damaging a building.

A Palestinian Arab girl was killed and three others wounded in Gaza after a rocket fired at Israel by terrorists in the Hamas-enclave fell short, landing in Gaza itself.

Iron Dome Intercepts Gaza Rocket

Iron Dome battery successfully intercepts Gaza rocket on its way to the coastal city of Ashkelon, just after Hamas threatens Israel with ‘fires of hell.’

The Iron Dome anti-missile defense system shot down a rocket Thursday night as it was in the air from Gaza, on its way towards the coastal city of Ashkelon.

Right before the Iron Dome shot down the rocket, “Color Red” warning sirens were heard in the city.

The rocket attack comes after another missile was fired from Gaza earlier on Thursday, exploding in the Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council area in the northwestern Negev without causing any damage or injuries. Continue Reading »

IAF Strikes Back After Two Gaza Rockets Strike Israel

Just a few hours after a terrorist’s rocket damaged a building in southern Israel, IAF jets hits several terrorist targets in Gaza.

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) launched airstrikes on several targets in Gaza on Wednesday night.

According to the IDF, the airstrikes targeted a concealed rocket launcher and two terrorist centers in northern Gaza. Two terrorist centers in central Gaza were targeted as well.

Direct hits were identified, and all aircraft returned safely to their bases, said the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit.

Gaza Fires Two Rockets at Southern Israel

One rocket reportedly falls in southern community; building sustains damage with no injuries reported.

Two rockets fell in Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council on Wednesday night following a Code Red rocket alert siren.

The IDF could not confirm the exact location of the hits.

Israel Police said one of the rockets hit a community in the region and the second rocket fell in an open area. No injuries were reported, but a building did sustain damage.

Police were on their way to the scene.

Israel Air Force strikes Syria & Gaza in response to fire

 

Fire originating from Syrian territory was directed towards IDF military post on Mount Hermon in Israel’s northern Golan Heights.

 

The Israeli military said it fired into Syria on Monday morning in response to high trajectory force that struck the northern Golan Heights.

According to the Israel Defense Force, no one was wounded in the shooting from the Syrian side, which landed near a military post at Mount Hermon earlier Monday morning, and no damage was incurred.

Initially, the army said it responded with artillery fire.

Israel Strikes Gaza after being hit by 7 Gaza rockets

Six rockets fired from the Gaza Strip exploded in southern Israel on Monday morning. One of the missiles hit a street in the city of Sderot, causing damage but no injuries.

The Israel Air Force  responded by attacking two targets in the southern Gaza Strip and other targets in the center. Direct strikes on the targets were reported and all aircraft returned safely to base, according to the Israel Defense Forces spokesman.

Gaza’s Ministry of Interior announced that two Palestinian security officers were injured in an airstrike on the al-Nuseirat refugee camp.

Sirens sound on Ashkelon coast, less than 24 hours after multiple rockets fired into Israel, additional rockets fired Friday morning, with no injuries reported.

Sirens were sounded in the Ashkelon region Friday. According to Channel 2, only one rocket has been fired and no one was reportedly hurt in the attack.

The sirens sounded less than 24 hours after skirmishes broke out between the IAF and Hamas. Four Kassam rockets were fired into southern Israel on Thursday night; there were no injuries reported. The shell landed in an open area in the Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council. No injuries were reported.

Gazan militant groups said the Israeli air strike on the Gaza Strip overnight hit a Hamas militant base, another site tied to the Popular Resistance Committees and a Palestinian National Security Forces position, all in the city of Rafah near the Egyptian border.

Amidst falling rockets, Egypt boasts of destroying 1,370 Hamas tunnels into Gaza

In a show of yet another sign of Cairo’s antipathy towards Hamas, the French media’s announcement from Egypt comes as Gaza rockets land in southern Israel.

 

As Gaza was rocketing the south on Wednesday afternoon, Egypt announced it had destroyed 1,370 tunnels into the Strip from the Sinai, Agence France Presse reports.

The tunnels carry everything from rockets to food and are crucial to both Gaza’s military and its civilian economy. They run mainly under the Gazan border town of Rafah.
