Mariam Farhat, a former member of parliament for Hamas in Gaza, raised each of her six sons to commit terror attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians. She hoped that each of them would die in the process – that each of them would become a ‘martyr’.

Trees are often used as a screen to block out undesirable views, but in Israel they’re about to be planted as a screen against rocket attacks on Israelis living close to the border with the Gaza Strip.

Gaza Terrorists Fire Kassam Rockets into Ashkelon

For the 1st time since Operation Pillar of Defense, Gaza terrorists release rockets on southern Israel. No one hurt as one Kassam rocket hit the city of Ashkelon.

Gaza terrorists fired on southern Israel on Tuesday morning for the first time since the Pillar of Defense counter-terror operation in late 2012.

One rocket hit the city of Ashkelon, but did not cause injury. A second rocket apparently hit an open field near the city.

Residents said they had no warning of the impending strike.

IDF Has Hit More Than 300 Targets in Gaza So Far

Since the commencement of Operation Pillar of Defense, the IDF has destroyed over 300 targets throughout Gaza.

Since the beginning of Operation Pillar of Defense, the IDF has struck more than 300 targets throughout Gaza, according to a statement released by the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit on Thursday.

The statement said that during the day on Thursday, the IDF continued to launch attacks on dozens of rocket launching sites in Gaza, causing them significant damages.

On Thursday evening, the IAF launched a second assault wave on Gaza, targeting 70 underground missile sites.

The IDF statement added that IAF aircraft struck several terrorist groups that were involved in carrying out rocket attacks. Continue Reading »

Prosor to UN Security Council: Time to Condemn Hamas for Terrorism

Israel’s ambassador to the UN sends a letter of complaint over the 150 rocket attacks on southern Israel by Hamas’ ruled Gaza.

In the wake of the ongoing rocket fire by Gaza-based terrorists at southern Israel, Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, Ron Prosor, sent on Tuesday a letter of complaint to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and to the UN Security Council.

“Hamas and other terrorist organizations in Gaza have fired more than 150 rockets in recent days,” Prosor wrote. “Civilians and many Israeli soldiers have been wounded and damage has been caused to property.
