Hamas daily in Gaza publishes special edition calling for resumption of bombing attacks, marking wave of suicide bombings that devastated Israel before the construction of the security barrier that brought the carnage to a halt.

Mustafa al-Sawwaf, a columnist for the Hamas Al-Risalah daily, called for the renewal of suicide bombings against Israelis.

The article was printed as part of a special edition marking the 22nd anniversary of a series of suicide bombings in 1996.

Thailand prevents Hezbollah terror plot to kill Israeli tourists

Thai authorities thwarted a plan by Hezbollah agents to attack Israeli tourists during this Passover season, a Thailand-based newspaper is reporting on Thursday.

According to the Bangkok Post, investigators in Thailand managed to extract a confession from one of two suspected terrorists held in custody for allegedly planning to strike at Israelis in the country.

Two of the men – Daoud Farhat, a French-Lebanese national, and Youssef Ayad, who is of Lebanese-Filipino extraction – were arrested for alleged ties to Hezbollah, the Bangkok Post reported.

Bulgaria releases ID of 2 suspects in Burgas terrorist bombing

 

The Sofia report into the Hezbollah suicide bombing that killed 5 Israelis & a local, names a Canadian & an Australian citizen as prime suspects.

The Bulgarian authorities have released the names of two people believed to be involved in the Burgas bus bomb terrorist attack last year that killed five Israelis and their Bulgarian bus driver according to the Bulgarian news agency Focus.

Meliad Farah and Hassan El Hajj Hassan, who are suspected of involvement in the Burgas bus bombing.

The two were identified as 32-year-old Australian citizen Meliad Farah, also known as Hussein Hussein, and 25-year old Canadian Citizen Hassan El Hajj

In the days around the attack, the suspects had been noticed in Ruse, Varna and Nesebar, the Sunny Beach resort, and in the village of Ravda, according to the report.

An Israeli military court ruled on Wednesday that Ibrahim Hamad, the former commander of Hamas’ military wing in the Palestinian Authority-controlled areas of Judea and Samaria, is guilty of the murder of 46 Israelis.

According to a report on Channel 2 News, Hamad was convicted of involvement in a series of suicide terror attacks. These include an attack at the Sheffield Club in Rishon Letzion which killed six Israelis, a suicide attack at Café Moment in Jerusalem which killed 12 people, an attack at the Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall in Jerusalem and an attack at the cafeteria of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
