White House fingers HAARETZ for distorting message to Palestinian leaders

A U.S. National Security Council spokesman confirmed that an op-ed headline from Trump’s special envoy to the Middle East peace process, was indeed changed by Haaretz editors, and openly accused the Israeli ‘left’ newspaper of revealing a bias toward conflict in doing so, which has led to a false, misleading narrative that was ‘delivered’ to the Palestinian Authority.

US President Donald Trump has asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to extend some goodwill gestures to the Palestinians to show that Jerusalem is serious about the peace process, the Haaretz daily reported Sunday.

According to the report, Netanyahu stated in the weekly security cabinet meeting on Thursday that he intends to comply with the request and has already begun planning the tokens of goodwill which would include both the West Bank and Gaza. Continue Reading »

Group of IDF reservists take issue with Haaretz’s numerous anti-Israel articles

The Reservists group plans to distribute pamphlets containing selection of articles & op-eds from Israel’s left-wing newspaper, HAARETZ, that portray Israel as evil, and are used by the BDS movement & other Israel-haters, to justify their campaign to demonize, delegitimize & boycott Israel internationally.

The IDF reservists group ‘Reservists at the Front’ is taking aim at the Haaretz newspaper as part of its new campaign against the international boycott movement against Israel, which launches on Wednesday.

Anti-Israel material put out by the BDS movement features a column by Haaretz writer Gideon Levy

Ultra-leftist paper published the identity of a decorated IDF hero who infiltrated & exposed leftists’ groups that informed Abbas’ PA on Arab-land sellers, who then would arrest & torture suspects before sentencing them to death.

The Haaretz newspaper has exposed the alleged identity of the young man who infiltrated leftist groups as part of an investigative report that was aired on Channel 2 last week.

The man, who was planted in the leftist groups by a group called Ad Kan, recorded the most damning documentary materials aired on the show, by use of a hidden camera.

Haaretz Journalists Arrested for Spitting and Assaulting IDF officer

Cleared for publication:  Alex Levac and Gideon Levy were arrested for assaulting soldiers in attempt to cross into ‘Area A’ without legal documentation.

The Israeli journalists who were arrested Monday afternoon near the IDF checkpoint at Tulkarem, after they entered the Palestinian Authority-controlled Area A of Judea-Samaria without permission or IDF coordination, have been revealed as none other than Haaretz‘s Gideon Levy and Alex Levac.

Haaretz itself has blamed the IDF for the incident.

“Their job is to help the vital work of journalists and not sabotage it under false pretenses, and certainly not to arrest journalists performing their duties,” the newspaper stated Monday night.
