Hamas officer dead, 3 injured by IDF strike on launchers of incendiary balloons

In two separate retaliatory strikes Thursday, the IAF hit the terrorist enclave where mortar shells were fired at IDF soldiers engaged in operational activity near the security fence and also struck a Hamas terror cell that was responsible for launching incendiary kites & balloons into Israel.

An IDF aircraft on Thursday struck a Hamas terror cell in the southern Gaza Strip that was responsible for launching incendiary kites and balloons into Israel, the IDF spokesperson confirmed.

Peta says using Falcons to incinerate Israel, ‘unacceptable use as weapon of war’

Egypt demands end to Hamas incendiary kites, balloon terror

Egypt gives Hamas a few days to end incendiary balloons and kites launched into Israel that have sabotaged an Egyptian-brokered ceasefire, causing Israel’s closure of the Kerem Shalom crossing.

Egypt has warned Hamas to significantly reduce or completely end within a few days the launching of incendiary balloons and kites into Israeli territory from Gaza, Ynet learned on Tuesday morning, giving the terror group an extended deadline to restore calm to the border.

Southern Command head General Herzi Halevi said on Sunday that Israel would start targeting terrorists responsible for launching incendiary kites into Israel, more than three months after the phenomenon began.

“We have prepared for these things in recent weeks.
