US voids prior funding restrictions in Golan, Judea & Samaria

PM Netanyahu and US Ambassador will sign amended scientific cooperation reversing past US governments that ruled Israeli research projects receiving US grants could not be carried out in areas taken during the 1967 6-Day War.

Israel said on Tuesday the United States is effectively lifting a ban on US funding of Israeli scientific research projects conducted in Judea and Samaria and the Golan Heights.

Trump White House: Obama WH “virtually” saw Israel as enemy of United States

A White House spokesman: With Obama no longer framing Netanyahu (Israel) as a threat that’s undermining Obama-Kerry foreign policies, better ties have blossomed with Israel, so now the U.S. is ‘beloved’ around the world.



Improved ties with Israel proves that the United States is more “beloved” around the world than under the previous administration, a White House spokesman said.

He also said that Israel was “virtually” thought of as an enemy of the United States under the Obama administration.

Trump follows predecessors, signs agreement to not pressure Israel on nukes

The report posted in The New Yorker speaks of how the White House was surprised with Israel’s unannounced insistence to sign secret agreement, following in the footsteps of President Trump’s predecessors.

After agreement with White House, Netanyahu allows massive West Bank construction

After reaching an understanding with Trump officials, the White House will no longer makes distinctions between major towns & isolated settlements such as Hebron, and Jerusalem can announce approved Jewish housing plans in the West Bank every 3-4 months, rather than every few weeks.
