US voids prior funding restrictions in Golan, Judea & Samaria

Israel said on Tuesday the United States is effectively lifting a ban on US funding of Israeli scientific research projects conducted in Judea and Samaria and the Golan Heights.

Improved ties with Israel proves that the United States is more “beloved” around the world than under the previous administration, a White House spokesman said.

He also said that Israel was “virtually” thought of as an enemy of the United States under the Obama administration.

After reaching an understanding with Trump officials, the White House will no longer makes distinctions between major towns & isolated settlements such as Hebron, and Jerusalem can announce approved Jewish housing plans in the West Bank every 3-4 months, rather than every few weeks.
