Kerry looks at Hamas as kidnappers of 3 Jewish teens in Israel

U.S. secretary of state recommends full cooperation between Palestinian security forces and Israeli to return teens.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry condemned Sunday the kidnapping of three Israeli teenagers in the West Bank, adding that “many indications point to Hamas’ involvement.”

In a statement to the press, Kerry called for the immediate release of the three victims, who went missing Thursday from the Gush Etzion cluster of settlements, and stated that the United States is still “seeking details on the parties responsible.”

IDF: Reserves Soldiers Inducted as Iron Dome Deploys in South

 

The IDF moves up a notch to rescue the 3 kidnapped young Israelis in West Bank by calling up reserves and preparing anti-rocket batteries in southern Israel. 

 

The IDF has called up a limited number of reserves as the military operation to rescue three kidnapped Israelis in the West Bank continues to grow. The call up is small in scope at this stage.

Also on Sunday, the air force deployed a number of Iron Dome anti-rocket batteries in southern Israel.

The official Facebook page Palestinian Authority head Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah party has posted a cartoon comparing the three kidnapped Israeli students to rats.

The post on the “Palestinian National Liberation Movement “Fatah” / Central Page” shows three rats with Stars of David dangling from a fishing rod; its implications are unmistakable.

The sickening cartoon illustrates the mixed messages sent by the PA; on the one hand, Abbas promised to help Israel find the abducted teens – even as a senior PA official denied his administration would take any responsibility for the kidnappings. Continue Reading »

IDF’s working assumption is the 3 students, who are feared kidnapped, are alive

 

Defense Ministry deployed 2,000 IDF Paratroopers & Kfir soldiers who could quarantine area where the three missing teens disappeared.

The names of the three missing teenagers were cleared for publication on Saturday afternoon. The teens are Eyal Yifrah, 19, from Elad, Gil-Ad Sha’ar, 16 from Talmon and Naftali Frenkel, 16, from Nof Ayalon.

Earlier, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said the working assumption was that the three students, who are feared kidnapped, are alive.

Israel’s state security, the Shin Bet, explain how incarcerated Palestinian inmates instruct other terrorists on how to kidnap Israeli soldiers or citizens so as to secure their own release in a negotiated prisoner exchange.

The Shin Bet and Israel Prison Authority have exposed and thwarted 11 attempts of Palestinian security prisoners to orchestrate kidnappings from inside Israeli jails, it was cleared for publishing on Sunday.

The prisoners, from Fatah, Hamas and other Islamic organizations, instructed other terrorists to try to kidnap Israeli soldiers and citizens to secure their own release in a prisoner exchange deal.

Hezbollah: Golan Attack on IDF Jeep was Kidnapping Attempt

A Hezbollah sources reported that the explosion on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights Tuesday that injured 4 IDF soldiers was a failed kidnapping attempt.

Hezbollah sources said Tuesday that an explosion on the Golan Heights that injured four IDF soldiers had been an attempt to kidnap soldiers. The kidnapping attempt was reported by Al-Manar television, a Lebanese news outlet associated with Hezbollah. The reported quoted Hezbollah sources as saying that although the attempt failed “this time, we are sure we will succeed in the near future.”

An army official, cited by state news agency MENA, confirmed the news, adding that the soldiers were pushed into a vehicle and forced to make pro-Morsi and anti-military statements on a loudspeaker.
