A 37-year-old police officer was moderately injured by a terrorist stabbing in the area of the Lions’ Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem. The police said that the terrorist was shot and later pronounced dead. Both Border Guard police officers transferred to hospital where they are in stable condition after being stabbed at the Lion’s gate entrance to Jerusalem’s Old City.

An Arab terrorist stabbed and moderately wounded two Border Police officers in Jerusalem’s Old City early Monday morning.
The attack occurred at the Lion’s Gate on the city’s eastern side facing the Mount of Olives.

The 25-year-old terrorist approached the police guard station, entered and began wildly stabbing.
One of the officers was eventually able to push the terrorist outside, load his weapon and shoot the assailant. Continue Reading »
