Contrary to Netanyahu’s wishes, Likud seeks to split with Yisrael Beytenu

 

Likud’s central c’tee expected to pass proposals allowing Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount and initiating annexation of Judea & Samaria.

 

The Likud’s central committee will likely vote at next Wednesday’s party convention to split off from Yisrael Beytenu, the convention’s chairman, Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon said Wednesday.

Yisrael Beytenu decided last month to temporarily maintain its partnership with Likud. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu also wants to keep the partnership, and his associates have hinted that he could ignore a decision by the central committee if it decides otherwise.

Soldier’s Commander prevented his death in lethal accident

 

Despite suffering massive burns himself, the quick-thinking response by a brave young commander who ran to a burning tank, saved his comrade, & prevented an IDF training accident from becoming a deadly one.

During the incident, four combat soldiers were wounded, but the brave actions of company commander Second Lieutenant Eylon Tsarfati – who was also wounded – prevented the incident from ending much worse.

Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has granted a post-mortem honor to arch-terrorist Abu Jihad, who was responsible for the murder of at least 125 Israelis in numerous terror attacks that he planned, including a bus hijacking in 1978, in which 37 civilians were murdered.

Official PA TV News reported that Abbas, in order “to honor the founding leaders and the first generation of the Palestinian revolution and the PLO, and out of loyalty to their history of struggle,” chose to decorate Abu Jihad with “the highest order of the Star of Honor.” Continue Reading »

The World Health Organization approved an Israeli-developed non-surgical device to begin circumcising the adult male population of Rwanda to help control HIV/AIDS.

A Romanian public broadcaster distanced itself from a Christmas carol celebrating the Holocaust that aired on the new channel.

TVR3 Verde, a television channel for rural communities, presented the carol on Dec. 5 during its maiden transmission.

Mount Hermon sees snow piling up, Israel Railways reports delays, and at Tel Aviv boardwalk, large square engulfed by water as heavy rains mark beginning of winter.

A storm that swept Israel overnight saw roads being flooded, trees collapse and snow mount across Israel on Wednesday. Delays were reported on public transport.

The heavy rains caused schools to close in Umm al-Fahm, Tira and Qalansawe, where the collapse of the sewage system saw houses and roads become flooded.

Flooding was also reported in Tel Aviv. Parts of the city’s boardwalk and Kikar Hamedina were engulfed by water. Continue Reading »

Saudi Arabia Detains 3rd Israeli Bird as Possible Mossad Spy
