Hamas naval commander +3 eliminated by IAF surgical airstrike

In a joint IDF-Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) operation, the air force struck a vehicle containing a commander of Hamas’s naval commando unit, Muhammad Sa’aban, aged 24 on Tuesday.

Palestinian media reported that four Hamas people in total were killed in the targeted strike on the vehicle.

A senior military source said that the Palestinians killed overnight Sunday in the Gaza Strip were Hamas members “who were in the tunnel with explosives” and that “the tunnel was intended for a significant terror attack with special infrastructure and an anti-soldier force.”

Israel Retaliatory Airstrike Kills 2 Islamic Jihad Terrorists in Gaza

Two terrorists were killed in an Israeli airstrike on central Gaza late Sunday, the Bethlehem-based Ma’an news agency reports.

According to the report, two members of Al-Quds Brigades, the so-called “military wing” of the Islamic Jihad group, were killed as Israeli warplanes struck the al-Bureij neighborhood.

The two were identified by Ma’an as Mazen al-Hadba and Marwan Salim.

Further details were not immediately available.

An IDF spokeswoman quoted by Ma’an said the Israel Air Force had “managed to prevent a rocket attack” from central Gaza. Continue Reading »

According to the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, IAF aircraft hit 10 targets in central and southern Gaza.

According to the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, the airstrikes targeted concealed rocket launchers, training compounds and weapons storage sites, all of which belong to the Hamas terrorist group.

The statement said that the airstrikes were in retaliation for the latest escalation in rocket attacks on southern Israel.

“The IDF is prepared to defend the citizens of Israel from any threat and will continue to act decisively and as long as necessary until peace is restored,” said the IDF, noting that Hamas is directly responsible for the ongoing rocket fire. Continue Reading »

Israel bombed dozens of targets in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, striking at Hamas after finding the bodies of three missing teenagers — Gil-ad Shaer, Eyal Yifrach and Naftali Frenkel — whose abduction and killing it blames on the Palestinian Islamist group.

Sirens blared across southern Israel in Netivot, Ashkelon, Sderot, and several towns in the area of Sha’ar HaNegev. An explosion was also heard in the area.

An Israeli aircraft targeted three underground rocket launchers in the Strip’s center. The strike came in retaliation for rockets fired from Gaza earlier in the evening, the IDF said, adding that it holds Hamas responsible .
