Abbas aide: Quiet building freeze will open avenues for talks

Senior Palestinian negotiator (in doubletalk rhetoric) Nabil Shaath: “We spend 60% of our expenses on security that is not for our safety but for your protection. I have never seen a convict spend the penny they earn to protect their jailers.”

Senior Palestinian negotiator Nabil Shaath warned on Thursday that “if the status quo remains, we will not be able to prevent another intifada.” Speaking to Israeli media outlets at his office in Ramallah, Shaath told reporters that a “quiet freeze [of settlement construction]” would pave the way to restarting the peace process.

Knesset Vote passes ‘Jenin, Jenin Law’, protecting the slander of IDF soldiers

Knesset gives approval to bill that would now allow soldiers to sue when slander of the IDF is general and not directed against a specific soldier.

By Maayana Miskin

The Knesset has approved a law prohibiting slander of IDF soldiers in an initial vote. The bill was put forth by MKs Yoni Chetboun (Bayit Yehudi), Yariv Levin (Likud Beytenu), and Nachman Shai (Labor).

It has been dubbed the “Jenin, Jenin bill” after the libelous documentary “Jenin, Jenin.” While the documentary was found to have contained lies, including accusations of murder, the soldiers accused were unable to file suit because no one individual soldier had been accused. Continue Reading »

‘Pallywood’ wants everyone to think Muhammad Al-Dura was really killed

By BEN CASPIT

Does anybody remember Muhammad Al-Dura? He was the 12-year-old boy from Gaza who was allegedly killed by IDF fire during the Second Intifada as he crouched behind his father, Jamal, crying. He became the most potent symbol of the Palestinian struggle. His name can still be heard around the world even to this day.

A ‘Palestinian’ Museum: What 200 years of history?

Palestinians building a museum claiming their national history goes back at least 2 centuries, but will that actually convince all the Regional Arabs?

By Aviel Schneider

Last week, the laying of the cornerstone of the new “Palestinian Museum” made headlines worldwide. The museum is a private initiative that aims to tell a 200-year-old Palestinian history.

Established adjacent to Birzeit University near Ramallah, the museum will be build in two stages and eventually encompass an area of almost 100,000 square feet.

Palestinian sources said a museum is one of the things every proper state needs. “I hope that the museum gives the Palestinians the opportunity to present their story to the world,” said museum director Jack Persekian. Continue Reading »

VIDEO: How the U.S & Europe fund Palestinian hatred

The UN agency that administers most Palestinian schools is bankrolled by the EU & US, and it is using their tax money to perpetuate another generation of young Arabs to hate the Jews.

By Israel Today Staff

For Israel, the biggest obstacle to concluding a genuine and lasting peace agreement is that the Palestinians have been indoctrinated with a deep-seated hatred for the Jews, and therefore any deal is likely to fall apart at the first opportunity.

UNRWAAnd those portraying themselves as the overseers of this peace process are actually guilty of both initiating and perpetuating this phenomenon.

The first and greatest mistake of the Israeli-Palestinian peace process was importing Yasser Arafat’s PLO to speak for and rule the Palestinians. Continue Reading »

PA Open Museum to Invent 200-Year-Old Palestinian History

Everyone knows the Jews, of course, changed the original version of the Bible. That’s what happens when someone controls the media.

And everyone knows that Jesus was a Palestinian.

And everyone knows that Rachel’s Tomb is actually the Bilal ibn Rabah mosque, dating back more than 2,000 years before Islam was founded.

By: Tzvi Ben-Gedalyahu

The cornerstone was laid Thursday for a new museum north of Ramallah to show off 200 years of the culture of “Palestinians,” another Arab effort to invent a past that has no future.

It is a lot easier to convince the world that Israel is “occupying its land” if Arabs can show that the “Palestinians” existed 200 years ago and were not invented by Yasser Arafat.   Continue Reading »

Facebook prevents PMW from exposing Palestinian promotion of hate speech

Facebook allows Palestinian promotion of hate speech but prevents PMW from exposing it

by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik

Following Palestinian Media Watch’s bulletin exposing the PA TV broadcast of a girl reciting a poem referring to Jews as “enemies of Allah, descendants of pigs,” Facebook, like YouTube, decided to remove PMW’s post.

Facebook: “We removed the following content you posted or were the admin of because it violates Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities.”

Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities stipulates that “you will not post content that is hate speech” or “incites violence.”

While Facebook is preventing PMW’s exposure of the PA’s hate speech, Facebook’s policy has not been applied to the explicit terror promotion and terror glorification by Fatah on Facebook, which PMW has documented, all of which were posted by Fatah’s Facebook page administrator:

Fatah in Lebanon encouraged violence and terrorism by posting a picture of a mother dressing her young son with a suicide belt. Continue Reading »

By Elad Benari

An Arab Knesset member who visited Toronto last week claimed that there is no democracy in Israel and that Arabs are victims of Israel’s “apartheid” policy.

According to a report in Shalom Toronto, MK Jamal Zahalka (Balad) made the remarks during an appearance at the “Palestine House” in Toronto in honor of the Arab Land Day, which was marked on March 30.

The report said that MK Zahalka’s lecture, which was entitled “Exposing the secrets of Israeli democracy”, focused on trying to disprove what he said is the “myth” of the existence of a genuine democratic government in Israel. Continue Reading »

Op-Ed: Why The World Easily Believes Jews Kill Children

French courts to rule on the case of France 2 TV vs. media critic Philippe Karsenty, who exposed the al-Dura anti-Israel “big lie.”

By Giulio Meotti, Italy

A landmark ruling on Mohammed al-Dura, the symbol of the Al-Aqsa Intifada, is about to be released this Wednesday, April 3rd, by the French Supreme Court.

The court case is concerned with the state-owned France 2 TV and one of its senior news producers, Charles Enderlin, and was lodged against Philippe Karsenty, a brave media critic, whom they seek to convict of criminal defamation.  (A reminder: The film shown on TV of Mohammed al-Dura cowering behind his father’s back and killed turned out to be doctored; one of the portions cut showed him visibly alive at the end of the event and the place he was in was proven to be out of range of IDF soldiers). UNHRC Report: “Palestinian armed groups continuously violated int’l humanitarian law, by launching indiscriminate attacks on Israel and by attacking civilians, thereby disregarding the principle of distinction. Mock Eviction Notices on Harvard University Dorms Initiate ‘Israel Apartheid Week’

In promotion of ‘Israeli Apartheid Week’, mock notices saying, ‘Your suite is scheduled for demolition,’ are  posted on Harvard student dorms.

Yitzhak Benhorin

WASHINGTON – The battle for the American student public continues, with pro-Palestinian Harvard students posting mock eviction notices on the doors of student dorms on campus, warning students their homes are scheduled for demolition.

הכרזה. "יחס אכזרי ובלתי מתקבל על הדעת"

The ‘notice’

“This may seem harsh, but this is the state of affairs in the West Bank,” say the notices posted on March 2, promoting the “Israeli Apartheid Week” organized by the Harvard Palestine Solidarity Committee.

Rabbi Jonah Steinberg, head of the “Hillel” Jewish students organization in Harvard, sais this is an all too familiar tactic: “Had the group placed its flyers on bulletin boards, there would be no violation of University policy, no warning from administrators in reply, and no big story about ‘Israel Apartheid Week’ in the campus or national news.” Continue Reading »
