Israel Police recommend indictment of three Arab Knesset Members

With the investigation against Hanin Zoabi, Jamal Zahalka and Joumah Azbarga completed, the police say there is sufficient evidence collected on the three for multiple ethical & criminal charges, including falsifying documents on a regular basis to hide that they were receiving millions of shekels in illegal donations.

Police submitted on Tuesday its recommendation to indict three Balad MKs—Hanin Zoabi, Jamal Zahalka and Juma Azbarga—for a series of ethical criminal offenses.

The police have completed their investigation into the three parliamentarians, saying sufficient evidence has been collected to charge Zoabi, Zahalka and Azbarga with fraudulently obtaining benefits, falsification, money laundering, fraud and breach of trust, among others offenses.The Continue Reading »

After condolence meetings with the families of Palestinian terrorists, Arab MK was not permitted entry into President Rivlin’s meeting with over 60 Arab leaders, Finance Minister & Israel’s Social Equality Minister.

Likud MK: No Classified Intel Discussed if Arab MKs on Committee

MK Yariv Levin states that ‘no one’ trusts Balad MKs with classified information, even when they’re serving on Knesset committees.

Any Arab MKs to join the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee in the 20th Knesset will not be privy to classified information, MK Yariv Levin (Likud) stated Thursday.

“The general committee will only hold discussions which do not contain classified information, whereas sub-committees will include classified intel,” he said, during an address at the Israel Democracy Institute in Tel Aviv Thursday.

“If a party insists on an MK being appointed to a committee, whether Jewish or Arab, they will get the spot, as established in the Knesset regulations,” Levin said.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s bluff regarding the idea of leaving the Jews of Judea and Samaria inside a future state of “Palestine” – assuming it was a bluff, as sources in Netanyahu’s bureau claim – appears to be working brilliantly in exposing Palestinian hypocrisy.

According to Dani Dayan, the chief foreign envoy for the Yesha Council – a Judea and Samaria leadership forum – MK Jamal Zahalka (Balad) spoke on Haifa Radio Monday morning and rejected Netanyahu’s suggested solution – explaining that Jewish setlers who live inside “Palestine” will not be loyal citizens in the new Arab state. During the plenum debate, Arab MK Jamal Zahalka (National Democratic Assembly) said that the bill was irrelevant because it referred to “occupied territory, and as such, what applies is international law; the referendum should apply to the nations of the world.”

Israeli Arab Knesset member Jamal Zahalka (National Democratic Assembly) has spoken out against national service for Israeli Arabs, saying that young people who volunteer will be ostracized.
