US special Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt fired back after Palestinian official Saeb Erekat circulated a letter to foreign diplomats stationed in Ramallah, accusing the American diplomat of being a mouthpiece for Israel.

PLO: No peace talks with Israel until Trump annuls Jerusalem recognition

In the spirit of threats and thuggery, PLO official Saeb Erekat takes a shot at bullying President Trump by refusing to resume any future peace negotiations with Israel until the United States annuls its recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

The chief negotiator for the PA said that it will not resume any kind of peace negotiations with Israel until the United States walks back its recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

“The Palestinian leadership will not accept any offers for negotiations unless the American decision on Jerusalem is annulled,” Saeb Erekat said Tuesday in an interview with the official Voice of Palestine radio, the official Palestinian Authority WAFA news website reported. Continue Reading »

Palestinian Arab officials on Friday criticized reports that U.S. President Donald Trump plans to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Saeb Erekat, Executive Secretary of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) said, “Any American recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel will bring about the end of the Jerusalem issue. This issue is weighty and dealing with it is playing with fire.”

US State Department decides to allow PLO DC office to remain open, but conditionally

With the Palestinians rescinding its directive to charge Israelis in the ICC, a US St. Dept. official relayed an updated decision allowing the PLO’s Washington DC office to remain open, but “within limitations.”

The administration of US President Donald Trump on Friday backtracked on its vow to close the Washington DC office of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), saying it could remain open “within limitations.”

A State Department official said the bureau is advised to “limit its activities to those related to achieving a lasting, comprehensive peace between the Israelis and Palestinians.”

After breaking US law, Palestinians threaten to cut ties with US over repercussions

In 1994 Clinton waived a law prohibiting the PLO from having a mission in Washington, contingent on the Palestinians not charging Israelis at the Int’l Criminal Court. Palestinian despot Abbas broke US law by breaking the conditions of the agreement, and now, PLO officials are threatening the Trump Administration for the consequences.
• In 2011, Obama (the following Democrat President) allowed the Palestinians fly their flag over the Washington office, a de facto status upgrade of the mission that the Palestinians hailed as historic.

Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat is suffering from a serious respiratory disease and is on the waiting list for a lung transplant in Israel or the United States, according to Ynet.

Erekat, who is also secretary-general of the Palestinian Liberation Organization and one of the most recognizable Palestinian public figures, is reported to be suffering from pulmonary fibrosis and has been informed that a transplant will markedly increase his chances of survival. Israel’s Prime Minister’s Office categorically denies a London-based Arabic newspaper report that U.S. Mid. East Envoy Jason Greenblatt informed Palestinian delegation of an Israeli pledge to curb construction during ongoing peace talks.

US President Donald Trump’s special advisor and Middle East Envoy Jason Greenblatt told a Palestinian delegation in Jerusalem Tuesday that Israel had committed to slowing down the pace of construction in the West Bank during peace negotiations, according to a report published in the London-based Arabic language newspaper Al-Hayat.

PLO ‘Deception Master’ tells UN, “Hamas & PFLP are not terrorist organizations”

 

Pointing out the obvious deception, Danny Danon, Israel’s Ambassador to the UN articulated, “These are lies and incitement from those who are paying terrorists to kill innocent Israelis.”

NEW YORK – “Hamas and the PFLP are not terrorist organizations,” Saeb Erekat, secretary- general of the PLO, said on Thursday at the “UN Forum Marking 50 Years of Occupation.”

Erekat made the comment in response to a question from The Jerusalem Post regarding recent Israeli allegations that some of the organizations participating in the event were linked to the two groups.

Saeb Erekat, the Palestinian Authority’s chief “peace” negotiator and current secretary-general of the PLO terrorist organization, lashed out this week over Europe’s failure to more substantially support efforts to boycott Israel.

Erekat penned an op-ed for Newsweek in which he asserted that the Palestinians were “astonished” by recent statements by European officials opposing the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

The Palestinian official was shocked that European leaders had recently praised Israel’s human rights record, tacitly approved the import of Jewish “settler” products, and, at least in the UK, taken steps to criminalize boycotts against Israel.

PLO ‘Throwing a Fit’ Demanding Apology Over Eurovision Flag Policy

 

PLO representatives have denounced the ‘shameful, totally biased & unacceptable decision’ from the Eurovision song contest organizers after a document was leaked banning the flags of all non-UN member state, including the Palestinian Authority flag.

The Palestinians demanded an apology on Saturday from the organizers of Eurovision, who are already under fierce criticism after a document leaked forbidding certain flags, such as the Basque and Palestinian ones.

Report: PM Netanyahu sends apology after standoff between Abbas’ bodyguards & the IDF

Prime Minister Benjamin Nanyahu offered a personal apology to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas earlier this week after IDF troops engaged in a tense standoff with the rais’ personal security detail just outside his home in Ramallah during a nighttime arrest raid, according to an Internet report.
