Muslim Arab leaders meet to pray for Israeli sovereignty and to mark Iftar

Muslim leaders met yesterday at the Samaria Regional Council to celebrate Iftar and Lag Ba’Omer saying, ‘Many of us pray for Israeli sovereignty and to Stop the Palestinian Authority’s terrorist path.’

Arab and Muslim leaders yesterday arrived at the offices of the Samaria Regional Council to celebrate Iftar and Lag Ba’omer together with Council head Yossi Dagan.

Among those in attendance were Sheikh Abu Khalil Tamimi of Ramallah, Mohammed Massad of Jenin, Sara Zoabi as well as other leaders who preferred to hide their identities for fear of their lives.

Dagan and the Muslims discussed the Deal of the Century’s impact on the region, eradicating terror and incitement to violence, and discussed with them ways to maintain peace and economic and social cooperation. Continue Reading »

Arabs from illegal outpost try to prevent construction of security fence

Shortly after Israel’s High Court of Justice allowed the town of Shaked to construct a security fence, Arabs of an illegal neighboring compound, and with the assistance of the Palestinian Authority, entered the area of the Jewish town with a tractor in a cynical attempt to plow additional land in a land-grab of Area C.

Dozens of residents of the illegal Arab village of Dahar al-Malek in Samaria tried Wednesday to prevent the construction of a security fence around the community of Shaked.

In light of Arab violence, Israeli towns & cities shut their gates to Palestinian workers

Many settlements decided on Tuesday night to temporarily close their gates to Palestinian workers on Wednesday, and in some cases for the rest of the week, to protect themselves against possible attacks in their home communities.
