Arab Squatters Move Into Ancient Jewish Archaeological Site

Arab squatters cause irreparable damage as they illegally turn an Iron Age Jewish settlement, on a Samaria archeological site, into their private residence.

Near Hermesh in northern Samaria lies a registered archeological site called ‘Khirbet Parsin’, which preserves the biblical name ‘Peresh’ (descendants of Menashe) and the Talmudic name ‘Kfar Parshai’.

The remains of a large Iron Age settlement were discovered at this site, including a mikveh (ritual bath), burial caves and complex underground systems from the Second Temple period, as well as impressive buildings from the Ottoman period. Israel Police detain 4 Palestinians for violations on Temple Mount

Totally ignoring a closure order issued by the Jerusalem Magistrates Court, four Palestinians were detained when transporting room dividers as they continued to carry out illegal construction under the Islamic Waqf’s direction, creating a new mosque at the Golden Gate, the fifth on the Temple Mount, Judaism’s holiest site.

On Sunday night, four suspects were detained at the Temple Mount’s Golden Gate after police officers spotted four men transporting room dividers, intended for installation in the ancient structure recently transformed into the Temple Mount’s newest mosque.

This past March, Regavim, a non-government organization dedicated to the preservation of Israel’s resources and sovereignty through equal and universal law enforcement, petitioned the Supreme Court against the Waqf’s illegal activity at the Temple Mount’s oldest structure. Continue Reading »

UK & EU build illegal PA road through IDF training ground

The British government and EU are illegally paving a Palestinian planned road through an IDF Training Ground where a handful of Bedouin families had set up an encampment of tents and temporary structures, in yet another attempt to create a swath of territory under Arab control, on Israeli state land.

The UK and the EU recently began paving a road on land in IDF Firing Zone 917 in the southern Hevron Hills, despite recent Israeli government claims it is enforcing the law there.

Shortly after Israel’s High Court of Justice allowed the town of Shaked to construct a security fence, Arabs of an illegal neighboring compound, and with the assistance of the Palestinian Authority, entered the area of the Jewish town with a tractor in a cynical attempt to plow additional land in a land-grab of Area C.

Israel’s supreme court rules squatters’ village near J’lem to be demolished

The EU has spent hundreds of millions of taxpayers’ money to erect makeshift sheds in defiance of Israeli building & zoning laws, proudly displaying the EU flags constructed on public lands. UN sent to Jerusalem District Court for illegal construction

Even though PM Netanyahu and the UN Sec General discussed and agreed that all future construction within the UN compound would be in accordance with state and local laws, it appears the UN again, has been caught preparing for new, illegal, construction.

After repeated delays, the state finally responded Sunday to the request for an interim injunction filed by Regavim against the illegal construction carried out by the UN at the Government House in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood.

A drone with a video camera which crashed in a forest on Mount Hevron revealed a European Union (EU) operation to spy on and gather intelligence on Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.

An internal document of the Civil Administration confirmed that former Defense Minister Moshe Dayan allowed two Palestinians to control land in the Jordan valley, despite them not having legal ownership over the land.

The story was revealed a year ago when David Elhayani, the head of the Jordan Valley Council, warned the Civil Administration that Palestinians had entered state land that is under the jurisdiction of the municipality and tried to plant a palm grove.

Regavim appeals to Supreme Court on illegal Palestinian settlements

Israeli NGO Regavim files appeal with Supreme Court against Defense Minister Liberman & Civil Administration for not enforcing law on illegal Bedouin camp.

The organization Regavim has filed a Supreme Court appeal against Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman (Yisrael Beytenu) and the Civil Administration, claiming that they did not do their duty in enforcing the law against an illegal Palestinian outpost near Jerusalem.

The site, which was built with European Union money in 2015, is located near the village of Hizme, north of Jerusalem.

This is not the first time Regavim has turned to the Supreme Court over illegal EU-funded construction, though the current appeal notes that the buildings are located on private Arab land. Continue Reading »
