Hamas leaders said they have hanged two Palestinians found guilty of spying for Israel for over a decade, making them the first to be executed since the end of a month-long amnesty for informants in April.

Israel urges Arab League to admit Jewish ethnic cleansing

 

MK Shimon Ohayon says Arab leaders must own up to their countries role in its ethnic cleansing of their Jewish population from Middle East and North African countries.

On the United Nations World Refugee Day, MK Shimon Ohayon (Likud Beytenu) called on the Arab League to “own up to its role in the ethnic cleansing of the Jewish population from most of the Middle East and North Africa.”

“The Jews of Arab countries, starting in 1947, were used as weapons by the Arab League against the establishment of the Jewish State,” MK Ohayon said in a statement, adding a targeted accusation at the Arab League who “drafted laws for its member states to withdraw civil and human rights from its Jewish inhabitants.”

According to Uwe Neumaerker, director of the memorial, Michelle Obama and her daughters spent about half-an-hour Wednesday morning visiting the sea of 2711 steles that make up the memorial, which was designed by American-Jewish architect Peter Eisenman and opened to the public in May 2005, on the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II.

An Italian Catholic activist and journalist who was declared a Righteous Gentile for saving Jewish lives during World War II has formally been put on the road to sainthood by the Roman Catholic church.

Florida Atlantic University Continues To Allow Campus Antisemitism

Another year elapses and the university administration refuses to publicly speak out and set a moral example by denouncing anti-Semitic and other hate speech that’s commonplace on the campus.

In response to a new online video documenting the anti-Semitic messaging and extreme anti-Israel activism of a campus hate group at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) is again demanding that FAU publicly condemn anti-Semitic bigotry on campus and take other steps to remedy the hostile environment. Auschwitz youth center to receive $1.3 million donation from Volkswagen

Volkswagen, which used concentration camp prisoners during the Holocaust, says work at site is an ‘important undertaking’ for staff & company.

Volkswagen said Tuesday it was donating $1.3 million to the Auschwitz International Youth Meeting Center.

The automaker made the announcement at a meeting at the company’s headquarters in Wolfsburg, Germany.

Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn said in a statement that the money will be used for educational work and modernization of the facility.

He said Volkswagen has been involved with the center, an educational site located next to the Nazi death camp in Poland, for more than 20 years. Continue Reading »

Almost seven decades later, Holocaust memorials continue to proliferate.

Hardly an unusual sight in big American cities, but Holocaust museums & memorials are cropping up almost 70 years after WWII, in more out-of-the-way places like Terre Haute, Ind. or Alexandria, La.

Instead, the gatherers stood silently, symbolic shovels in hand, on the immaculate lawn where the privately funded $400,000 monument will soon rise. A succession of speakers delivered somber homilies remembering one of the darkest chapters in human history.

Israeli director debunks Nazi Jewish soap myth

The claim, based of Polish antisemitic slogans, that soap was produced from Jewish bodies, simply plays into the hands of the deniers of the Holocaust, who can easily prove that nothing of the kind ever happened…even though the Nazis were more than capable of this atrocity.

 

 

An Israeli film maker who is admittedly “obsessed” with the Holocaust is finally putting to rest the myth that the  urban myth that the Nazis used the remains of Jewish bodies to create bars of soap.

Greek FM to American Jews: Anti-Semitism in Greece will be ‘confronted’

WASHINGTON — The Greek foreign minister told an American Jewish audience that his government would “never allow hate to grow and spread,” but did not address specific calls to marginalize the ultranationalist Golden Dawn party.

Southwest Airlines kicks 101 yeshiva students off NY- ATL flight

A group of 101 yeshiva students and their eight accompanying chaperones were asked to remove themselves from an airplane which was scheduled to fly from New York to Atlanta Monday morning, CNN reported.

Hamas Would-Be Kidnapping Terrorist Nabbed by Israel Security

A Hamas terrorist who was preparing to carry out terror attacks was arrested. Under questioning, it was learned that his handler was a terrorist released in the Gilad Shalit deal. That violation makes him a target now.

Israeli security personnel announced Monday that they had arrested Bachar Attalah Samiach Sa’ad, a Hamas terrorists who planned several terror attacks against Israelis. Sa’ad was arrested in a joint action by the Shabak, Israel Police and IDF.

Sa’ad, a resident of a village near Ramallah, planned to kidnap an IDF soldier, amid a shooting attack he planned. His handler was Hasham Abed Alkhader Ibrahim Hajaz, a Hamas terrorist who was deported from Israel after he was released from an Israeli prison in the deal to free kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.
