Palestinians in Flagrant Violation of At Least 12 of 15 Treaties Abbas Just Signed

 

Abbas signed “State of Palestine” applications for 15 U.N. agencies in a  ceremony televised live from Ramallah.  “We will apply to 15 agencies & conventions immediately,” Abbas declared, after Fatah & PLO movement members supported the decision.

 

 

Despite U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry’s best efforts to bring Israel and the Palestinians together at the negotiating table and Israel’s support for continued peace talks, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has once again broken his word to Israel and the United States. In addition to rejecting the basic premise of “two states for two peoples,” and instead of meeting with the Secretary to move forward towards peace, Abbas chose to pursue unilateral recognition by signing onto 15 international conventions and treaties. Israeli security confirms what world ignores: Assad regime uses chemical weapons

 

According to Israel, Syrian gov’t forces used a non-lethal chemical substance against rebel fighters on March 27, near Damascus.

 

 

The Assad regime used a non-lethal chemical weapon on March 27 on the outskirts of Damascus, an Israeli security source said Monday.

The source said he could confirm claims made by Syrian rebels and doctors last month, that a substance was used on rebel fighters in Harasta, an outlying region of the Syrian capital, adding that the chemical “neutralizes but does not kill.” Continue Reading »

Palestinian infighting in south Lebanon leaves eight killed

 

Violent fighting broke out between members from the Brigades of Return, a Palestinian group linked to Fatah leaving 8 dead and at least 10 people wounded.

SIDON – At least eight people were killed in fighting on Monday between Palestinian factions in a refugee camp near Lebanon’s southern city of Sidon, Lebanese and Palestinian medical sources said.

Local sources said the clashes broke out between fighters from the Brigades of Return, a group originally linked to Palestinian Authority President Mohammad Abbas’s Fatah group, and a rival militant organization.

Nasrallah takes credit: ‘We Bombed Israel in Revenge’

Hassan Nasrallah, leader of the Lebanese-based terrorist group Hezbollah, took responsibility on Monday for the explosive detonated on the Lebanese-Israeli border in mid-March.

The explosive was set off as an IDF jeep passed by, sending three soldiers to the hospital to be examined for shock from the blast.

In acknowledging Hezbollah was behind the attack, Nasrallah claimed the blast was revenge for an airstrike attributed to the IAF, which took place a week before the attack and prevented delivery of sophisticated missiles to the terror group. Continue Reading »

US Congressional bill proposal will widen American sanctions against Hezbollah

 

The Hezbollah Int’l Financial Prevention Act targets the terrorist organization’s fundraising activities & will restrict the Shiite terror group’s ability to use its funds to support global terrorist activities.

The US House Foreign Affairs Committee was set to introduce new legislation that would toughen economic sanctions against Hezbollah, the committee announced Thursday.

Contrary to Kerry’s statement, PA has submitted official bid to join 15 int’l conventions

 

Palestinians say because Israel won’t free more prisoners, Palestine has formally requested to become signatory to treaties on apartheid & the laws of war.

 

The Palestinian Authority officially asked Wednesday that the state of Palestine become a signatory to 15 international conventions.

The request was made by Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Maliki, who met with Robert Serry, the United Nations special coordinator for the Middle East peace process, and Swiss and Dutch envoys to the Palestinian Authority.

Maliki told the diplomats that the Palestinian request came in response to Israel’s failure to release the fourth batch of prisoners it said it would free if peace talks progressed.

Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas breached the conditions of the peace talks Tuesday by signing a request to join several United Nations (UN) agencies.

Abbas obligated himself to refrain from such unilateral moves for international recognition during the course of the peace talks, restarted last July by US Secretary of State John Kerry.

“The Palestinian leadership has unanimously approved a decision to seek membership of 15 UN agencies and international treaties, beginning with the Fourth Geneva Convention,” Abbas said on TV following the signing, reports AFP. Continue Reading »

Hamas, the terrorist group governing Gaza, has replaced a nearly 80-year-old law with a harsh new one based on Sharia Islamic law. The new rules stipulate severe punishments such as lashes and amputations.

Faraj Al Ghoul, Legal Department head of Gaza’s Palestinian Legislative Council, announced the Gazan parliament will put the new law into effect, replacing Ordinance Number 74 that has been on the books since 1936.
