NGO Warns Rockefeller Brothers Fund Over Funding BDS

 

Legal rights NGO sends strongly worded letter to Rockefeller Brothers Fund warning its support of groups that advocate boycotting Israel could cause the fund to be “considered complicit and as a participant in these groups’ illegal activities.”

The Rockefeller Brothers Fund has given anti-Israel BDS organizations hundreds of thousands of dollars, according to the Shurat Hadin Israel Law Center.

Unlike Van Damme, who succumbed to pressure & removed “Israel” just an hour later, Morgan Freeman keeps “Jerusalem, Israel” on his Facebook photo full day after attacks by Israel haters.

Soon after actor Morgan Freeman posted a Facebook profile photo in which he was smiling against the background of Jerusalem’s OId City, his Facebook page – which is “liked” by over 18.5 million people worldwide – has become a battleground for Israel’s haters and lovers.

(JTA) A French appeals court upheld the hate-crime convictions of activists who called for a boycott of Israel at a demonstration.

The ruling delivered last week by the French Cassation Court concerned seven activists whom a criminal appeals court in Caen in southern France slapped with a $1,000 fine each and a conviction for calling for discriminatory acts during the 2010 demonstration outside a supermarket that sold Israeli goods.

UK finally ends funding NGO for inciting to hatred & violence against Jews

 

After the Telegraph released secret recordings of the Pro-Palestine ‘War on Want’ activities of promoting an academic boycott of Israel (since 2003) and its funding Apartheid Week on various UK university campuses, the British gov’t ended its funding.

The British government ended its support for the NGO War on Want, founded in 1951, and initially focused on fighting poverty around the world, for inciting to hatred and violence against Jews.

Georgia becomes sixth American state to ratify anti-BDS legislation

 

#BDSfail: The U.S. States that have passed anti-BDS legislation before Georgia are, Florida, Illinois, South Carolina, Indiana & Arizona.

WASHINGTON — Georgia became the sixth state to pass a law targeting the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement against Israel, and the fifth to include settlements as protected from boycott.

The bill was approved March 24 by the State Senate in a 41-8 vote. Two days earlier, the Georgia House of Representatives passed the measure in a 95-71 vote.

Illinois first US state to blacklist companies for adhering to BDS

 

Illinois becomes first US state to produce a list of offenders, of more than 20 American states that are considering legislation or have passed laws targeting companies that conformed with BDS policies against Israel.

Rejection of BDS by the University of Vienna student group is believed to the first major European student organization opposing all the anti-Semitic & anti-Israel academic initiatives in Europe & the US.

 

Berlin – Student association at the University of Vienna issued a statement on Wednesday, declaring their opposition to every form of anti-Semitism, including the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement targeting Israel.

Columbia University bans ‘pro-Israel’ display during nationwide BDS week

Some hint of racial bias at Columbia University student government for banning the pro-Israel display, as chair of the student gov’t and keffiyeh sporting vice-chair, are both members of Students for Justice in Palestine.

It’s “Israel Apartheid Week” at college campuses around the world as BDS activists organize displays, activities, and teach-ins to delegitimize Israel. At Columbia University, Apartheid Week organizers even managed to have the opposition banned.
