Arabs Say 12 Gaza Targets Struck by Israel, Video Shows Huge Blast

The IAF’s retaliatory attacks hit a training grounds used by terrorists, leaving two people lightly injured, 5 concealed rocket launchers, and a weapons manufacturing site.

The Israeli Air Force carried out 12 raids on Gaza overnight after terrorists fired more rockets at southern Israel, Palestinian security sources said Wednesday. A video apparently uploaded Tuesday shows a huge blast, allegedly as a result of an IAF bomb that hit the Zeytoun area in Gaza.

The attacks struck training grounds used by terrorists, leaving two people lightly injured, they told AFP.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement around midnight that airstrikes targeted five concealed rocket launchers in northern Gaza, a terrorist center in central Gaza and a weapons manufacturing site in southern Gaza. Continue Reading »

Earlier, two rockets were launched from Gaza at Hof Ashkelon Regional Council. Two were intercepted by an Iron Dome anti-rocket defense battery. A third rocket fell at Sdot Negev Regional Council, damaging a building.

Just a few hours after a terrorist’s rocket damaged a building in southern Israel, IAF jets hits several terrorist targets in Gaza.

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) launched airstrikes on several targets in Gaza on Wednesday night.

According to the IDF, the airstrikes targeted a concealed rocket launcher and two terrorist centers in northern Gaza. Two terrorist centers in central Gaza were targeted as well.

Direct hits were identified, and all aircraft returned safely to their bases, said the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit.

An Israeli warplane struck the northern Gaza Strip on Wednesday wounding six people, one very seriously, the territory’s Hamas rulers said.

The raid came as thousands took to the streets of Gaza City to celebrate the announcement by Hamas and the PLO of an agreement to form a unity government to end seven years of divided administration. There seems to be no direct connection between the two developments.

Sirens sound on Ashkelon coast, less than 24 hours after multiple rockets fired into Israel, additional rockets fired Friday morning, with no injuries reported.

Sirens were sounded in the Ashkelon region Friday. According to Channel 2, only one rocket has been fired and no one was reportedly hurt in the attack.

The sirens sounded less than 24 hours after skirmishes broke out between the IAF and Hamas. Four Kassam rockets were fired into southern Israel on Thursday night; there were no injuries reported. The Israeli Air Force (IAF) struck in Gaza on Thursday night, hours after terrorists fired several rockets towards Sderot and the surrounding communities.

According to Kol Yisrael radio, Palestinian Arab sources that targets in Gaza City and in northern Gaza were hit. These targets, they said, included two Hamas outposts.

IAF Airstrike Kills 3 Gaza Terrorists After Firing Mortars on Israel

Three Islamic Jihad terrorists killed by Israeli Air Force strike after they fired mortars at Israeli soldiers.

Three people were killed in an Israeli Air Force (IAF) strike in southern Gaza, according to medics quoted by AFP Tuesday.

Al Arabiya said that the strike took place in southern Gaza.

“Three martyrs have died in a Zionist (Israeli) strike east of Rafah,” Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra told AFP.

The IDF Spokesman’s Unit announced that the people killed were terrorists from the Islamic Jihad organization. They had fired mortar shells at IDF soldiers performing “routine operational activities” in the Kerem Shalom area. Continue Reading »

An Israel Air Force (IAF) aircraft on Friday evening hit a rocket launcher in northern Gaza.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said that the attack “was meant to remove the immediate threat of rocket firing into Israel.”

Gaza rocket attacks have been on the increase in recent weeks. Two Fridays ago, the calm of Shabbat was interrupted in southern Israel as terrorists from Hamas-controlled Gaza fired a Kassam rocket at the region.
