18 killed in aerial attack on Iranian targets in Syria on Iraqi border

Syrian opposition activists in the UK have reported unidentified aircraft destroyed targets immediately prior to missile launch by pro-Iranian militias in eastern Syria, killing 18 in an area where Iran is allegedly building its largest military base to date in the war-torn country.

The IDF has confirmed multiple strikes against Iranian targets outside Damascus following Intelligence that Iran was planning to launch armed drones at northern Israel.

Syria: Israel attacked weapons warehouse belonging to Iranian militias

Syrian news agency reported on Tuesday night of ‘Israeli aggression’ in that Israel fired missiles on several weapons depot used by Iranian militias [Hezbollah] in the Deraa and Kuneitra regions of Syria.

The Israel Defense Forces reportedly carried out an airstrike targeting Iranian strongholds in the south of Syria, with several reported killed, according to a war monitor.

The area targeted is said to be a hotspot for Iranian militia, according to Western gathered intelligence.

Syrian state media accused Israel of launching a strike against targets outside Damascus Friday night and claimed the country’s air defenses intercepted a number of missiles.

“Aerial defenses detected hostile targets coming from the direction of Quneitra and intercepted them,” a military source was quoted by Syria’s SANA news agency as saying.

Israel’s Air Force reportedly used the supersonic Rampage stand-off air-to-surface missiles for the first time during a strike on Iranian positions in Syria last week, foreign media has reported.

Israel allegedly struck a possible Iranian surface-to-surface missile factory in a Syrian base in the country’s Masyaf on Saturday and satellite images released by Israeli intelligence firm ImageSat Intl. (ISI) showed the complete destruction of the factory.

ImageSat Intl releases satellite images of IDF strike on Iranian assets in Syria

The Israeli intelligence images detail IDF’s powerful March 27 attack on Iranian munitions production & storage facilities that was so powerful it also caused an electrical blackout in Aleppo, Syria’s 2nd-largest city.

Satellite images released by the Israeli intelligence firm ImageSat Intl. (ISI) on Thursday show the destruction of an industrial zone in Aleppo in northern Syria allegedly struck by Israel in late March.

The images show destruction to two structures, a hanger and a building, in the north-western part of the Sheikh Najjar industrial area, both approximately 70×35 meters and some 450 meters apart.
