
Just 2 weeks after Israel was credited with the assassination of a senior Hezbollah operative, Imad at-Tawil, now a Quds Force commander, Farhad Dabirian, was reportedly assassinated in a southern Damascus suburb with no immediate claims of responsibility or description on how he died.

A field commander with the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was assassinated near the Syrian capital, an Iranian semiofficial news agency and an opposition war monitor reported Saturday.
Iran’s semiofficial Fars news agency identified the commander as Farhad Dabirian and said he was killed in the south Damascus suburb of Sayeda Zeinab. Continue Reading »
