REVEALED: Mossad nabs IRGC operative in Iran before mission to kill US general

The Iranian operative, Mansour Rassouli,  admitted in an audio recording to his Mossad interrogators that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps tasked him with the assassinations of the Israeli Consulate in Turkey, a senior American military general in Germany and a journalist in France.

The Mossad – operating in Iran – apprehended and interrogated an Iranian national who was leading a plot to kill an Israeli diplomat and a US general, sources have confirmed.

An audio recording released on Saturday showed a photo of Mansour Rasouli admitting he had been ordered to establish a cell to assassinate a worker at the Israeli Consulate in Istanbul, a US general stationed in Germany and a journalist in France. Continue Reading »

And Another Iranian Commander Assassinated in Syria

Just 2 weeks after Israel was credited with the assassination of a senior Hezbollah operative, Imad at-Tawil, now a Quds Force commander, Farhad Dabirian, was reportedly assassinated in a southern Damascus suburb with no immediate claims of responsibility or description on how he died.

A field commander with the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was assassinated near the Syrian capital, an Iranian semiofficial news agency and an opposition war monitor reported Saturday.

Iran’s semiofficial Fars news agency identified the commander as Farhad Dabirian and said he was killed in the south Damascus suburb of Sayeda Zeinab. Continue Reading »

Top Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani was killed Friday in a US strike on Baghdad’s international airport, Iran and the US confirmed, in a dramatic escalation of tensions between the two countries.

The Pentagon said US President Donald Trump ordered Soleimani’s “killing,” after a pro-Iran mob this week laid siege to the US embassy.

IDF fighter jets recently targeted a number of terror targets in Aqraba, Syria, southeast of Damascus.

The IDF has confirmed multiple strikes against Iranian targets outside Damascus following Intelligence that Iran was planning to launch armed drones at northern Israel.

White House fulfills threat by sanctioning Iran’s Quds Force

U.S. Sect. of Treasury Mnuchin announced sanctions on 6 people and 3 Iranian companies beginning with Iran’s central bank for actively helping the Revolutionary Guard’s elite Quds Force accessing millions US dollars held in foreign banks.

The US Treasury imposed sanctions on Thursday against six individuals and three companies it said had funneled millions of dollars to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s elite Quds Force, just days after President Donald Trump withdrew from the landmark 2015 Iran nuclear deal.

RUSSIA: Israel retaliated with 28 planes, shooting 60 missiles at Iranian targets

– Russian Defense Ministry: Israeli jets struck Iranian targets with at least 28 planes that fired some 60 missiles.
– Israel: Israel Air Force attacked nearly all of Iran’s military infrastructure in Syria.

Russia’s defense ministry said on Thursday that Syria had shot down more than half of the missiles fired at it overnight by Israel, RIA news agency reported.According to the report, the Israeli strike was carried out by 28 planes which fired at least 60 missiles, including 10 surface-to-surface missiles.

Iranian forces in Syria launched a rocket attack on Israeli army bases in the Golan Heights early on Thursday, Israel said, prompting one of the heaviest Israeli barrages against Syria since the conflict there began in 2011. Continue Reading »

REPORT: Washington OK’ed hit on an Iranian Revolutionary Guard General

In a report from a Kuwaiti newspaper, the US gave clearance to assassinate Qassem Soleiman, a top Iranian general who commands the IRG Quds Force.

A report in the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida said that the United States gave clearance to assassinate Qassem Soleiman, the commander of the overseas branch of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Haaretz reported Monday.
