Israel Police arrest 1st Jew for online incitement to violence

 

Police arrest a 37 yr-old Arad resident for posting incitement material on an online group called “The Jewish Gang”
• PM Netanyahu: I do not distinguish between acts of terror & incitement from either side; both will be dealt with severely.

The first arrest of an Israeli Jew for online incitement to nationalistic crimes has been made. The National Cyber Crimes Unit of the Lahav 433 Major Crimes Unit arrested a 37-year-old Arad resident as part of the investigation into online incitement to racist and violent acts.

Two more citizens, a 23-year-old from Mevaseret Zion and a 22-year-old from Petach Tikva, were detained for questioning over allegations of publishing online extremist material calling for violence.

Israel Police Raid Palestine TV studios in E. Jerusalem

 

An investigation into questionable network broadcasts of ‘incitement to violence’ got 3 staff members detained for questioning by Israel Police detectives.

Israeli police raided the East Jerusalem studios of Palestine TV on Friday and briefly detained three staff for questioning, a spokeswoman said.

“Police carried out searches at the headquarters of the television channel, as part of an investigation into the content of its programs,” spokeswoman Luba Samri told AFP.

“Three employees were arrested, questioned and released,” she said, adding that “no programs were interrupted and the investigation is ongoing.” Continue Reading »

Terrorist groups have sent death threats to Avi Naim, the local authority head of Beit Aryeh, located in western Samaria – because of his insistence on maintaining positive relations with the leaders of Arab villages in the vicinity of his town.

Hamas Tells Palestinians They Must Slaughter the Jews

Sheikh Raed Salah jailed 8 months for incitement

 

I got off cheap,’ joked Islamic Movement leader Sheikh Raed Salah after receiving an 8-month sentence for comments during Temple Mount protest that sparked riots leaving 3 Border Police officers injured.

Sheikh Raed Salah, the head of the Islamic Movement Northern Branch, is going back to jail after Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court sentenced him to an eight-month prison sentence for incitement to violence.

Salah was convicted last November for a 2007 speech he made on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

His comment, “Our best moments will be when we meet God as martyrs while Jews are still in the Al-Aqsa Mosque,” sparked a riot that left three Border Police officers wounded. Continue Reading »

Police ascend Temple Mount, 3 Palestinian rioters arrested

 

Rioting Arabs threw stones and firecrackers at security forces from the holy site, requiring police to enter it to disperse violent crowd.

A police force entered the area to disperse the rioters using crowd dispersal means, including stun grenades. Three rioters were arrested on suspicion they threw rocks and firecrackers at security forces.

Shin Bet with Israel Police arrest 16 violent Hamas activists in Jerusalem

Members of Islamist terrorist movement are accused of setting up a learning program on Temple Mount that caused  increase tension & sparked public disturbances.

 

 

A group of 16 East Jerusalem residents have been arrested by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and the Israel police on suspicion of being part of a Hamas cell operating in eastern neighborhoods of the city and the Temple Mount, the security service stated on Tuesday.

The Shin Bet said that the 16 suspects also includes activists from the northern branch of the Israel Islamic movement, who were part of a collaboration with Hamas at the Temple Mount compound. Continue Reading »

European Union Ambassador to Israel Lars Faaborg-Andersen freely admitted on Wednesday that Europe intends to blame the Jewish state if the current peace talks fail to produce an agreement.

“Naturally, the blame will be put squarely on Israel’s doorstep,” stated Faaborg-Andersen.

Court Convicts Sheikh Raed Salah of ‘Blood Libel’, Inciting Violence

The Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court has convicted Sheikh Raed Salah of incitement. Salah, who heads the northern branch of the extremist Islamic Movement, currently faces other charges of incitement, as well.

Irish EU Parliamentarian Calls for Arab Violence Against Israel

 

Irish EU representative faces criticism after suggesting that PA Arabs should resort to violence by starting a 3rd “Intifada” against Israel.

An Irish politician has caused outrage by urging Arabs to “rise up” against Israel in another “Intifada.”

European Union parliamentarian Paul Murphy said he does not believe that Israel is serious about the newly renewed diplomatic talks with the PA, and that what the PA needs is “a mass struggle from below.”
