New Israeli waste-center to turn plastic detritus into fuel

The Environmental Services Company Ltd., a government body established in 1990 to handle hazardous waste in Israel, will soon begin operating a unique facility designed to recycle plastic and turn it into fuel.

Israeli innovation combats stunted growth in children

Clinical trials with dietary supplement formulated by Israeli scientists have children growing 1-2 centimeters more than the group taking placebos.

 

A new dietary supplement developed at Schneider Children’s Medical Center in Israel has successfully helped children in the bottom 10th percentile for height and weight grow taller and gain weight. The supplement, named Up-Pro, will be available in stores in the near future.

IDF unveils newly developed technique for demolishing terror tunnels

Anticipating Hezbollah using terror tunnels in the event of another war, the IDF is conducting special training for detonating tunnel openings & has developed new underground communication equipment.

The IDF released a list Friday of 14 new changes instituted in 2014 on its website – ranging from a focus on healthier food to upgrades in defense.
