After Being Exiled for Visiting Jewish State, Bangladeshi Returns to Israel

Growing up in Bangladesh, a majority Muslim country & raised in an anti-Israel education system, Dr. Shadman Zaman, 25, returned in Israel on Wednesday from the UK, after being banned from his home country for visiting Israel in February.

Banned from his home country after visiting Israel in February, the first Bangladeshi national to ever visit, returned to the Jewish state this week for an advocacy trip with a Zionist Federation of Great Britain and Ireland delegation.

On Thursday evening two emergency response dispatchers from United Hatzalah went on their shift break and took time out to pray in the break-room. Both responders prayed their evening prayers but they were of two different religions. Working side by side as dispatchers, helping volunteers of all religions save the lives of all people from all backgrounds in Israel, allowed them to feel comfortable praying alongside one another in the same room at the same time. Swedish Antisemitism Continues As Muslims Harass Jewish Mourners At Funeral

A Jewish man who faced harassment after his brother’s funeral says, “Instead of mourning, we have to deal with harassment from outside. I am sorry that people are trying to scare us, and am even sadder that many times they succeed.”

Police in Malmo, Sweden, have issued an order to post officers near a Jewish cemetery during funerals following a series of incidents in which Muslim youths gathered in a nearby building and harassed mourners.

Israeli man indicted for incitement to racism and to violence over Facebook comment

Lior Cohen from Be’er Sheva called for gathering together to attack Arabs & make them understand ‘that Israel isn’t their country.’

 

A Be’er Sheva man was indicted yesterday on charges of incitement to racism and to violence or terrorism, after creating a Facebook group called “A real Arab man is an Arab in the grave.”

The indictment, which was approved by Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein, was one of several issued in the past two months against Israelis for creating Facebook groups calling for attacks on Arabs.
