Islamic Jihad Fool Blows Himself Up in Fatal ‘Work Accident’

A clumsy Islamic Jihad terrorist, from the organization set to join PLO leadership, accidentally detonates explosives in Gaza.

A bumbling Gaza terrorist of the Islamic Jihad terror group died on Monday morning, after having a “work accident” with an explosive he was handling.

The 25-year-old terrorist had his unlucky run-in with the bomb in Jabalia, a town in northern Gaza, reports Channel 10.

Two other terrorists, also of Islamic Jihad, were killed on Saturday in an explosion that reportedly occurred while training with various devices.

As hype and hysteria over the Hamas-Fatah (PLO/PA) unity pact continues, many experts are concerned over Israel’s future.

But at least one expert has said that the unity pact will work in Israel’s favor: Arutz Sheva columnist Dr. Mordechai Kedar, an expert on the Israeli-Arab sector, and an Arabic literature professor at Bar-Ilan University.

The Palestinian ambassador to Prague who died in a blast in January was most likely killed by a decades-old charge of Semtex plastic explosive concealed in a book, a newspaper reported on Tuesday citing a police investigator.

Police had decided Jamal al-Jamal was not assassinated, but had simply unwittingly opening a book booby-trapped years earlier, the source told daily newspaper Mlada Fronta Dnes.

“It was an unfortunate accident. The ambassador was a thorough man who wanted to put some old things in order, and among them there were two books with explosives,” the paper quoted the source as saying. Continue Reading »

Now explosives discovered at Czech Palestine mission after explosion & cache found

CZECH investigators have reported that after the discovery of a large illegal weapons cache, they later discovered explosives at the Palestinian embassy complex in Prague where a possibly booby-trapped safe killed the ambassador on New Year’s day.

Police discovered 12 illegal weapons following the explosion at the embassy that killed Ambassador Jamal al-Jamal, but this is the first time that authorities said explosives were also found in the new complex that includes the embassy and the ambassador’s residence.

It remains unclear what caused the safe to explode but the ambassador’s death is being investigated as a case of negligence.

“What is certain is that it was not an accident,” Rana al-Jamal, who lives in the Palestinian city of Ramallah, told the Czech newspaper Dnes in an interview.

A Swiss forensic team has found that Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat was poisoned to death in 2004 with radioactive polonium.

A team of experts, including from Lausanne University Hospital’s Institute of Radiation Physics, opened Arafat’s grave in the West Bank city of Ramallah last November, and took samples from his body to seek evidence of alleged poisoning.

According to Qatar-based Al-Jazeera, the Swiss team discovered levels of polonium at least 18 times higher than normal in Arafat’s ribs, pelvis and in the soil that absorbed his remains. Continue Reading »

Hanna Amireh, a member of the PLO Executive Committee, said that this was one of the scenarios that were discussed during the last meeting of the Palestinian leadership.

The attack came during a meeting in Ramallah of the PLO Executive Committee under the chairmanship of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

The PLO leaders said they would not accept a situation where the peace talks with Israel, which resumed recently, would become a “political cover for the implementation of the largest settlement project.”
