What will Israel do about the new EU guidelines?

Because of Israel’s scientific prowess, it is the only non-European country to have been invited to take part in EU’s ‘Horizon 2020’ program. The Europeans knew what they were doing by inviting Israel, which is no longer viewed as a country known only for its Jaffa oranges, as it was in the 1950s.

PA officials accuse Kerry of ‘deception & misinformation’ in peace talks with Israel

Palestinian representatives say Kerry gave Abbas assurances on Israeli settlement freeze.

Palestinian officials in Ramallah have accused the US Administration of deceiving and misinforming the Palestinian Authority with regards to the peace talks with Israel.

The officials told the London-based Al-Hayat newspaper that they were concerned about the US Administration’s role in the peace talks with Israel, especially its position on plans to build new homes in settlements and east Jerusalem neighborhoods.

The officials met with PA President Mahmoud Abbas last Thursday and heard from him about the peace talks with Israel.

United Nations Sec-Gen admits bias against Israel at United Nations

 

Speaking at a meeting with students in Jerusalem, the UN chief Ban Ki-moon admitted that the Jewish state is discriminated against due to Mideast conflict.

Nasrallah: I’m Prepared to Go to Syria & Fight Myself

Hezbollah leader reported that Thursday’s car bombing in Beirut will not prevent fighters from his Shiite organization from fighting in Syria.

Netanyahu exposed anti-Israel incitement at UN sponsored , West financed Arab summer camps

 

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon was briefed by PM Benjamin Netanyahu & other top Israeli officials on Friday about UNRWA camps inciting & indoctrinating Arab children.

Either unable or unwilling to end the UNRWA indoctrination of Arab children, Ban expressed his concern over Israeli home constructions.

Rare, Preserved 8th Century BCE Fortifications Found at Ashdod Harbor

An amazing find by the Institute of Archaeology at Tel Aviv University  uncovered a system of fortifications during this summer’s excavation.

Rare and unique discoveries were found this summer at the Tel Aviv University Institute of Archaeology excavation site in Tel Ashdod-Yam – located in the harbor city of Ashdod.

The institute uncovered a system of fortifications which date back to the 8th century BCE, the remains of buildings, as well as coins and weights from the Hellenistic period.

The excavations were the first of the season and were led by Dr. Alexander Fantalkin. He discovered the remains of a kind of anchorage, a massive wall made up of mud bricks which form embankments. Continue Reading »

Egypt’s Christians are being targeted and scapegoated for the ousting of the Muslim Brotherhood. An Egyptian human rights activist tweeted that the Virgin Mary in Minya, one of the oldest churches in Egypt, built in the 4th century, was destroyed by fire yesterday. There have also been media reports about attacks on churches in the city of Suez and other villages. Palestinian survey: 20,000 Palestinians working in settlements

Palestinian Survey also finds the unemployment rate in the Gaza Strip was 27.9% compared with 16.8% in the West Bank.

Unemployment in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip remains relatively high, according to a survey published by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics on Thursday.

The survey also showed an increase in the number of Palestinians working in Israel and settlements.

The survey showed that the unemployment rate in the Gaza Strip was 27.9 percent compared with 16.8% in the West Bank in the second quarter of 2013.

At least 20 people have been killed by a large explosion in a southern suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut, with at least 212 reported wounded.

Lebanon’s Daily Star reported that the blast took place on the main road between Rwais and Bir al-Abed. The neighborhood is a stronghold of Hezbollah.

Egyptian nuclear scientist fled to Israel: Temple Mount Belongs to Jews


 

Noha Hashad, the Egyptian nuclear physicist who fled to Israel and has remained, has said publicly that according to the Koran the land of Israel belongs to the Jewish people, and there’s no doubt the Temple Mount also belongs to the Jews.
