Fact-Checker: Obama Misled Congress & American People in State of the Union Address

When Barack Obama addressed the Congress that U.S. had ‘halted’ the Iranian nuclear program & reduced their nuclear stockpile, the president wasn’t being accurate, and Netanyahu’s upcoming congressional visit will point out more ‘mistakes’.

Experts on the negotiations with Iran regarding its nuclear capabilities have taken issue with two main points made by U.S. President Barack Obama in his State of the Union address this week.

Israel: Jerusalem has no knowledge of reported Putin visit

Palestinian media reports upcoming state visit by Russian President to restart peace talks.

Israeli government’s spokesperson on Thursday said Jerusalem had no knowledge that Russian President Vladimir Putin is planning to visit Israel during his tour to the Middle East next month.

The report saying the strongman leader will visit Jerusalem to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Ramallah for a meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has appeared on Thursday in al-Quds, a Jerusalem-based Palestinian broadsheet.

Israeli satellite imaging company ImageSat released images from Iran revealing a new nuclear development site.

The images show what appears to be a new missile launcher that stands 27 meters (89 feet) tall and is capable of launching a nuclear missile to Israel or Europe, according to a Channel 2 report.

Hamas Allows Protest Against Charlie Hebdo in Gaza, in Support of ISIS

Protester says, ‘We are telling France that Islam orders us to punish and kill those who assault & offend Islam’s Prophet Mohammad’

Gazans on Monday joined in worldwide Muslim demonstrations, many of them violent, against the satirical French weekly Charlie Hebdo, which responded to the recent jihadist attack on its Paris office by publishing a caricature of Prophet Mohammed on its latest cover.

An Israeli strike on Syria that killed six members of the Iranian-proxy Hezbollah terrorist organization also killed six Iranian solders and commanders, including an Iranian general.

“The Israeli strike killed six Iranian soldiers, including commanders, as well as the six members of Hezbollah. They were all in a convoy of three cars,” a source close to the Shia Islamist group told AFP on condition of anonymity.

Egypt destroys 1,200 meter-long Hamas terror tunnel beneath Gaza’s border

 

Terror-tunnel reportedly had lighting & ventilation systems installed, as well communication lines connected to operation centers, which allowed the Egyptian & Palestinian operators to coordinate their transactions.

Egyptian security forces recently discovered a 1.2 kilometer (0.75 mile) long tunnel near Rafah under the border between the Sinai Peninsula and Gaza Strip that was used to smuggle weapons, fuel, food and other consumer goods.

According to Palestinian news agency Maan, which cited a senior Egyptian security official, the tunnel opening was discovered in a bedroom in a house on the Egyptian side of Rafah.

Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird’s convoy was pelted with eggs and shoes while visiting the West Bank on Sunday, Palestinian sources told Ynet. The incident took place as the convoy was arriving at the Palestinian Foreign Ministry in Ramallah. Palestinian security forces managed to prevent them from reaching the convoy.

Nasrallah Reports: ‘Hezbollah has weapons that the enemy (Israel) aren’t expecting.’

 

Hezbollah’s leader says that his Shi’ite group has arms Israel can’t even imagine.

Hezbollah has more types of weapons than Israel can imagine, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah told the Arab-language Al-Mayadeen television network during an interview on Wednesday.

“Hezbollah has weapons that the enemy can expect and we have ones that they aren’t expecting. Our resistance has not been damaged, and Israel is mistaken if it thinks it has,” Nasrallah said.

Israel’s PM Spoke with Freed French Hostage About Slain Jewish Man’s Heroism

Prime Minister Netanyahu said, “Celine (Charki) told me about the terrorist’s unfathomable cruelty & the heroism of a Jewish youth who tried to take his gun & shoot him.”

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Saturday evening that he spoke by phone with Celine Charki, who was one of the hostages held at the kosher supermarket in Paris Friday. “Celine told me about the terrorist’s unfathomable cruelty and the heroism of a Jewish youth who tried to take his gun and shoot him,” he said.

The heroic action was apparently taken by hostage Johan Cohen, who was killed.

Germany’s Spiegel Reprts Syria Building Secret Nuclear Plant Again

It was assumed that Israel’s Air Force destroyed Syria’s Kibar nuclear complex in a 2007 raid. But, new intelligence suggests that President Assad is still trying to built a nuclear bomb, and he may be getting help from Iran & North Korea, reports German magazine.

Intelligence suggests that Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad is building a secret underground plant with the aim of developing nuclear weapons, Germany’s Spiegel news magazine said Friday, according to AFP.

Citing information made available by unidentified intelligence sources, Spiegel said the plant was in an inaccessible mountain region in the west of the war-ravaged country, two kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Lebanese border.
