Brussels Could Reinstate Kosher Slaughter in Poland

Former Deputy Prime Minister says Poland’s recent ban on kosher slaughter must be rescinded as it is in violation of EU Laws.

The Polish lawyer representing the European Jewish Association (EJA), says a Polish ban of kosher ritual slaughter is illegal and should be overturned immediately.

Roman Giertuch, who is also a former Deputy Prime Minister of Poland, says the ban was adopted in violation of a European law that requires formal notification of the EU Commission for a legislation that contravenes EU regulations.

Shin Bet reports: Israeli Arabs are joining al-Qaeda

 

Israel’s Security agency says Israeli Arabs are joining rebel forces in Syria operating with al-Qaeda, and whose training may be used later against Israel.

A disconcerting Shin Bet assessment warns that Arab Israelis are joining rebel forces in Syria and working with al-Qaeda terrorists.

According to the review, submitted to the State Prosecutor’s Office and the Supreme Court, there is a possibility that Arab Israelis who are being trained in Syria may use their knowledge against Israel – both by spreading ideologies and by using intel and military capabilities they’ve learned there.

Speaking to journalists in Russia, Putin remarked that Syria’s chemical weapons were created as an “alternative” to Israel’s nuclear weapons. “Israel has technological supremacy and does not require nuclear arms,” he said.

5 Palestinian fisherman get year in jail by Egyptian military court

5,000 Christians Plan Pilgrimage to Jerusalem

The Int’l Christian Embassy in Jerusalem, the largest pro Israel Christian organization in the world, is preparing to welcome 5,000 pilgrims for its annual Feast of Tabernacles festival.

Over 5,000 Christian pilgrims from around 100 nations will take part in the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem’s (ICEJ) annual Feast of Tabernacles this week.

The festival which will generate some $16 million in revenues is the largest annual tourist event in Israel.

The people were not accustomed to having a king or institutions of government when the first king, Saul son of Kish, was crowned. Many of them doubted his ability to rule. During the first ceremony, the tribe of Benjamin was chosen by lot to provide the first king. Within the tribe, the family of the Matrites was chosen, and among that family, the lot fell upon Saul son of Kish, as if Heaven and the people had chosen him to rule over Israel (as told in 1 Samuel 10).
