PA Claims Arab Teens Killed By Live IDF Fire – CCTV Shows Event Was Staged, ‘Pallywood’

Palestinian autopsy alleges live bullet reason for Arab rioters’ death.

IDF maintains only rubber bullets used in clashes.

CCTV video casts doubt on PA claims….SO…who really shot them, and where, since they obviously weren’t shot where the PA suggests?

By Ari Yashar

An autopsy conducted at a Palestinian Authority (PA) institute on one of the two Arab rioters who died during the “Nakba (Catastrophe) Day” clashes on May 15 alleges the rioter was killed by a live bullet.

PA Attorney General Abdel-Ghani Al-A’wewy claimed to Reuters that “a fragment from a live bullet was found inside the body of the martyr,” adding a live bullet “was the only reason for the death.” Continue Reading »

Amnesty Int’l investigator admits that Palestinian “eyewitnesses” often fabricate stories

In the territories, the lies about Israel are repeated so often that the witnesses will often tell reporters what they expect to hear rather than what happened; it is part of their culture to ensure that Israel is always blamed no matter what.

Donatella Rovera, an Amnesty field investigator, wrote an interesting article about the challenges of fact finding in war situations.

One of her main points is that eyewitnesses are often unreliable. For example:

In Gaza, Lebanon, Libya, Syria, and other places I interviewed civilians who described what they thought were artillery or bomb strikes being launched by far away government forces and striking near their homes – whereas in reality the loud bangs and tremors were caused by mortars or rockets being launched by opposition fighters from their positions nearby.

MBTA approves anti-Israel propaganda ads at Boston subway

Pro-Palestinian ‘Ads Against Apartheid’ propaganda campaign challenges Jerusalem’s commitment to peace, asking ‘does Israel want peace… or land?’

By Ynetnews

Boston’s transportation authority (MBTA) last week approved a subway ads campaign by the NGO Ads Against Apartheid that challenges Israel’s commitment to peace.

Photo: Ads Against Apartheid“Does Israel want peace… or land?” the ads ask, calling on the US to end its support of “Israeli apartheid.”

One of the ads claims Israel has demolished over 25,000 Palestinian homes since 1967, while another features the 150 Jewish settlements built in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

A third ad displays statistics about the level of violence it says the IDF perpetrates: “Israel has killed 1 Palestinian child every 4 days since 2000.” Continue Reading »

Australia follows Canada preferring truth over EU, US, UN lies about Israel

The Australia government joins Canada in extending real hands of friendship to Jerusalem as it expands it’s pro-Israel shift in policy.

A year ago, Australia joined the handful of countries that voted against, or abstained from voting for a series of one-sided anti-Israel resolutions that were put forward in the UN. Since then, Australia, under Tony Abbot’s government, has repeatedly made it clear that it’s actually going to be taking a balanced position when it comes to Israel.

On Wednesday evening, the Australian government unequivocally stated it would not use the word “occupied” in reference to eastern Jerusalem. Continue Reading »

By Gil Ronen

A Norwegian-language test administered to over 40,000 high-school students across Norway, included blatant anti-Israel propaganda. One of the questions presented a photo of a graffiti drawing by a British street artist on Israel’s security barrier and an SMS sent by Norwegian doctor Mads Gilbert from Gaza during the Cast Lead counter-terror offensive in 2009, and asked to analyze the drawing and text.

Gilbert’s SMS says:

"They bombed the central vegetable market in Gaza

Media Misquotes Hamas to Demonize Israel

International community wants so badly to blame Israel as the obstacle to peace, that mainstream media is willing to overtly misquote Hamas.

By Ryan Jones

Diplomats, media and peace activists apparently eager to paint Israel as the main obstacle to peace have been quick to publish and point to numerous reports that Hamas is being encouraged and has even agreed to recognize Israel as part of its unity agreement with the Palestinian Authority.

Never Mind, No One Told Hamas to Recognize Israel...

It would seem that those reports were either premature or purposely embellished, and that those who latched on to them should have first done some rudimentary fact-checking. Continue Reading »

Newly appointed UN shamelessly promotes the most vile anti-Semitic blood libels about Israel.

By David Lazarus

The Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), which was established to aid development in the Arab world, has published a new report targeting a nation that does not fall under its jurisdiction – Israel. Nevertheless, this official UN agency, which received over 88 million dollars in allocations last year, has a lot to say about the Jewish state.

Top Palestinian negotiator the top propagandist, master of fiction & doublespeak

PA negotiator Erekat, told a diplomatic gathering that his tribe had been residents of Jericho thousands of years before the arrival of Joshua Ben Nun.

The Palestinian leadership relies on the thirst of the int’l mainstream media to take seriously any wild, baseless Palestinian distortion when criticizing Israel and to buy into any artificial claim uttered by the Palestinian leadership.

By Israel Today Staff

There are many competing claims at play in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but the simple question of who was here first, as childish as it might sound, remains central to the contest.

That is precisely why, in addition to leveling all sorts of other accusations at Israel, the Palestinian Authority is engaged in an effort to invent a new historical narrative that puts the Palestinians in the land long before the Hebrews ever arrived from Egypt. Continue Reading »
