Three French soldiers were stabbed outside of a Jewish community center in Nice, France, AFP reported on Tuesday.

Several young Arab assailants armed with rubber straps, sticks and rocks entered the Hadar neighborhood in Haifa on Sunday, where they began beating passersby with the sticks and shouting “slaughter the Jew” in Arabic.
According to one of the testimonies from the attack, at around 11 p.m. the Arab youths arrived at Michael Street in the neighborhood and started threatening haredi residents on the street, with the sticks in their hands.
Ten Israeli tourists were wounded in an anti-Semitic attack at a hostel in a small Argentine village.
Three assailants burned, robbed and beat the tourists at the Onda Azul hostel in Lago Puelo, in southern Argentina, between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. Monday, the Argentine media reported. Police in the Chubut province are investigating.
“It was a terrifying moment, several hours of fear,” hostel owner Sergio Polak told the local media.

Israel’s security cabinet held a crisis meeting on Monday. The reason: the killing of two Israeli soldiers by Palestinians since Friday.
Earlier the weekend, Tomer Hazan (20) was killed in an Arab village. He was buried on Sunday (photo). Hours later, a Palestinian sniper in Hebron shot and killed another soldier, Kobi Gal, also 20-years-old.

A Jewish man from the Binyamin region was assaulted Monday in a random attack on the light rail train in Jerusalem. The young man told Arutz Sheva that he was targeted by a group of Arab youths, apparently due to his recognizably Jewish appearance.
He was part of a group traveling to a birthday party in Jerusalem, he recalled. The group sat toward the front of the train.

Jews who came to pray at the Haohel synagogue in Bat Yam on Wednesday morning were shocked and appalled to find that it had been defaced for the fourth time in a month.
This time, vandals spray-painted two large crosses on the building, one on either side of the main entrance.

The release of the FBI’s annual Hate Crime Statistics Act (HCSA) report indicated a promising new trend in America, with overall hate crimes overall falling by 6 percent in 2011. However, despite the improvement, anti-Jewish hate crimes still remain disproportionately high, the report found.
According to the report, there were 6,222 hate crimes in the U.S. in 2011 with 1,480 religious hate crimes, down 3.4 percent from 2010. Continue Reading »
