Israeli Envoy: History proves Palestinians don’t want a state, leaders exploit conflict for money

 

Ambassador Danon tell the UN very clearly: Palestinian leadership’s real goal is to maintain the conflict, exist as a corrupt entity, living off the financial goodwill of the int’l community.

Israel’s Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, on Tuesday addressed the UN General Assembly as the UN marked “International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People”, which takes place annually on November 29, the day in which the UN in 1947 approved the Partition Plan, which recommended the partition of then-Palestine into a Jewish state and an Arab state.

During “International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People”, the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) delegation to the UN initiates a special session which it uses as an annual occasion to pass a number of anti-Israel resolutions. Continue Reading »

Jerusalem Thrilled by Trump’s Appointment of Nikki Haley as UN Envoy

 

President-elect Donald Trump’s pick as US ambassador to the UN will be celebrated in Israel, and denounced in Iran.

South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley was selected for the position on Wednesday, and Israel Ambassador to the UN immediately hailed the decision.

Haley is a “longstanding and true friend of Israel,” wrote Danon in a statement that went on to note the governor’s “outspoken [fight] against the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement in her state and throughout the US.” Continue Reading »

Israel outs Iran for smuggling munitions to Hezbollah on commercial airline

 

Israel’s envoy to the UN, Danny Danon, sent an urgent letter to the Security Council, “The Iranian Al-Quds Force packs weapons, ammunition and missile technology to Hezbollah in suitcases and puts them on Mahan Air flights.”

Iran is smuggling weapons and ammunition to Hezbollah through commercial flights from the Islamic Republic to Lebanon, according to intelligence information revealed by Israel’s UN ambassador to the Security Council, which was cleared for publication on Tuesday.

UN General Assembly passes Israeli resolution, “Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development”

 

Israel’s envoy to the UN, Danny Danon, says about the resolution passed in Friday’s General Assembly, “This resolution is further proof of the important contributions that Israel makes to the world as a leader in innovation and entrepreneurship.”

NEW YORK – The United Nations General Assembly approved an Israeli-sponsored resolution on Friday, focusing on international innovation and development and ways to help some to remove the obstacles entrepreneurs face internationally.

The resolution, entitled “Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development,” states that by promoting entrepreneurship education through capacity-building, training programs, and business incubators, access and opportunities for women, youth and individuals with disabilities can increase as well. Israel’s Ambassador to UN returns from clandestine visit to Dubai

 

Revealed only on Thursday, Israel’s Amb. to the UN Danny Danon, made a secret visit to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates in his capacity as chairman of the UN Legal Committee.

UN accepts Israel’s invitation for peacekeeping forces to be trained in field medicine by IDF

UN to Israel: Release our employee who illegally siphoned aid money to Hamas

The United Nations sent Israel a formal demand that United Nations Development Programme employee who was arrested for redirecting Gaza humanitarian aid money to Hamas military projects, be released.

The UN’s Office of Legal Affairs (OLA) sent a letter to Israel’s Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, requesting the release of Waheed Al-Bursh, an UNDP worker who was arrested in July for assisting the Hamas terror organization, claiming he should receive diplomatic immunity.

11 UN ambassadors arrived in Israel Sunday as part of Israel’s UN Ambassador’s attempt to present the int’l delegates with an Israeli perspective, that would hopefully influence their home countries’ future votes regarding Israel.
