Alert IDF soldiers on Monday night prevented a terror attack at the Gaza border fence. The incident occurred near Kibbutz Nachal Oz, Channel Two reported.

Several Gaza Arabs approached the border fence, the report said. IDF soldiers patrolling in the area identified suspicious figures near the fence, and ordered them to halt. IDF Jets Retaliate Striking Terror Targets in Gaza

IDF aircraft hit several terror targets in Gaza in response to last night’s barrage of rocket on southern Israel.

IDF aircraft attacked several terror targets in Gaza early Monday morning, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement.

The sites targeted include two weapons storage sites in central Gaza, as well as a rocket launching site and a center of terrorist activity in southern Gaza.

Direct hits were identified and all aircraft returned safely to their bases, said the IDF.

The statement noted that the airstrikes came in response to a barrage of rockets directed at southern Israel earlier Sunday night. Continue Reading »

In a somewhat unorthodox summer camp in the Gaza Strip, children aged between six and 16 picked up AK-47s and engaged in a series of quasi-military drills, including a lively game of “kidnap an Israeli soldier” in the sand dunes of Rafah.

Human Rights Watch: Gaza Committed Numerous War Crimes

FINALLY: Human Rights Watch says Gaza “armed groups” commit war crimes by targeting Israeli civilians. HRW also blamed Gaza terrorists for firing rockets & missiles from densely populated areas.

HRW also blamed Iran for provided technical information to Gaza terrorists for building their own  Fajr 5 missiles that were fired on Tel Aviv & Jerusalem.

US Senate resolution demonstrates solid support of Israel

WASHINGTON – The United States Senate sent an overwhelming message of solidarity with Israel on Thursday with the passage by unanimous consent of a resolution introduced by Senators Kirsten Gillibrand and Mark Kirk.

The bipartisan resolution, with 62 Senators as co-sponsors joining the two, expressed firm support for Israel’s “inherent right to act in self-defense to protect its citizens against acts of terrorism.”

“As a bipartisan group of Senators committed to Israel’s security, we express our solidarity with Israel during this deeply challenging period and denounce the reprehensible and indiscriminate rocket attacks launched by Hamas and Islamic Jihad against innocent Israeli citizens,” the senators said in a joint statement. Three Israel Defense Forces soldiers were injured Tuesday morning in an explosion which took place near the border fence in the southern Gaza Strip.

One of the troops was lightly to moderately hurt and is said to be suffering from a limb injury. He was evacuated to the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.

IAF Retaliates in Gaza After Rocket Barrage on Sderot

Israel Air Force strike terror activity center in northern Gaza after terrorists fire on Sderot.

IAF aircraft struck a terror activity center in northern Gaza on Tuesday night, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit announced.

According to the statement, direct hits at the target were detected. All Israeli aircraft safely returned to their bases.

The attack came in response the constant rocket attacks into Israeli territory.

“The IDF will not tolerate any attempt to harm Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers and will continue to operate against anyone who carries out terror attacks against Israel,” said the IDF statement.

Several hours before the air strike, terrorists in Hamas-controlled Gaza fired a barrage of at least seven rockets at the city of Sderot and the nearby area. Continue Reading »

A Qassam rocket attack by Gaza Arab terrorists on southern Israel prompted a “red alert” Tuesday evening, Channel 2 reported. The alarm was sounded after terrorists in the Gaza Strip fired an anti-aircraft missile at an Israeli aircraft. Officials said terrorists fired a Strela shoulder-fired missile at an IDF helicopter, however, missed the target.

Hamas Airs Movie Promo on Shalit Kidnapping

Hamas’ Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades has released a promo for a new movie in which actors reenact the attack in 2006 in which then-IDF soldier Gilad Shalit was kidnapped.

The promo for the movie, which will air later this week, comes as the movement marks one year since Shalit was released in exchange for 1,027 terrorists held in Israeli prisons, including several convicted of mass murder.

An Israeli air strike in Gaza targets 2 Global Jihad terrorists, killing 1 and wounding 5

An Israeli air strike in Gaza on Sunday evening targeted two terrorists, the IDF Spokesperson said in a statement.

The statement named the two as Talat Khalil Muhammad Jerbi, a Global Jihad member from Rafiah and Mohammed Abdullah Hassan Makawi, a member of the Shura Council, a terror organization based in Gaza.

The operation was carried out jointly with the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), said the statement. It was unclear if the terrorists had been killed or wounded in the air strike. Continue Reading »

IDF forces exchanged fire with terrorists who fired mortar shells at Israel Sunday evening near Kerem Shalom, on the border with Gaza.

There was reportedly also an infiltration into Israel by an enemy vehicle during the exchanges of fire. The IDF reportedly hit the vehicle from the air and the terrorists in it were killed.
