The Israeli Air Force is likely to strike Syria in the near future, according to a report released by The New York Times on Wednesday night.

After a recent strike on a Syrian arm’s cache failed to wipe out the entirety of a Russian-made anti ship missile arsenal, US intelligence analysts have concluded that Israel will want to finish the job with a future attack, according to unnamed American officials.

American officials said on Wednesday that according to intelligence analysts, a recent Israeli airstrike on a warehouse in Syria did not succeed in destroying all of the Russian-made anti-ship cruise missiles that were its target, the New York Times reported.

IDF Jets Retaliate Striking Terror Targets in Gaza

IDF aircraft hit several terror targets in Gaza in response to last night’s barrage of rocket on southern Israel.

IDF aircraft attacked several terror targets in Gaza early Monday morning, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement.

The sites targeted include two weapons storage sites in central Gaza, as well as a rocket launching site and a center of terrorist activity in southern Gaza.

Direct hits were identified and all aircraft returned safely to their bases, said the IDF.

“When the explosion happened it felt like an earthquake, then a giant golden mushroom of fire appeared. This tells us that Israel used depleted uranium shells,” the source said.
