Trump didn’t but Israel Law Center may bring down the Iran Nuclear Deal… and Boeing

Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, founder of the Tel Aviv-based Israel Law Center, found a ‘back door’ to force Tehran to pay settlement in a past terrorism case, but in the process, may kill Boeing’s multi-billion dollar deal with Iran, and also nullify Iran’s nuclear agreement with the P5+1.

When the landmark nuclear deal was signed in 2015 between the world superpowers and Iran, one of the big winners was, of course, Tehran. Billions of dollars, frozen throughout years of economic sanctions, were finally released, providing a much-needed boost to Iran’s failing economy.

Another winner was Boeing. In one of the appendices of the deal, aerospace companies, primarily Boeing and Airbus, were given special permission to start doing business with Iran. Continue Reading »

As Lame Duck Obama Causes Chaos Democrats Finally Expressing Disagreement

Some Democrat lawmakers are relieved to bid the POTUS farewell, especially after Obama’s decision to abstain from a UN Security Council veto, that passed Resolution 2334, disavowing Israel’s sovereignty over Jerusalem, Judea & Samaria and condemning a Jewish presence there.

By MICHAEL WILNER

WASHINGTON – For years, Democratic leaders on Capitol Hill managed to keep relatively quiet their frustration with Barack Obama’s approach to the Middle East, careful to navigate his brokerage of a nuclear deal with Iran, his absence in Syria and his antagonistic relationship with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by offering respectful criticism couched in commitments to party loyalty. The defense ministry fired back at Obama’s remarks that ‘Israel is now behind the Iran deal’

Israel’s defense ministry on Friday fired back at comments made by US President Barack Obama over the Iran nuclear deal, saying that the agreement is “harmful, just like the Munich agreement with Hitler.” Obama on Thursday said that even Israel now acknowledges Iran’s adherence to the international nuclear accord as he staunchly denied that a $400 million payment to Iran earlier this year was ransom for the release of American prisoners. Rhodes admitted that while the American public was led to believe that negotiations between the West and the Islamic Republic took off after the election of President Hassan Rouhani in 2013, who was touted as a “moderate,” in reality negotiations with hard-liners began much earlier. 2 ex-Obama aides: Israel needs bunker-buster bombs to prevent Iranian nukes

By JPOST.COM STAFF

The Iran nuclear deal would be far more effective if the United States provided Israel with weapons capable of destroying the Islamic Republic’s atomic facilities, two former high-level US officials wrote in an op-ed for The Washington Post on Wednesday.

Dennis Ross, the former peace envoy and adviser on Middle East issues to a number of presidential administrations, and David Petraeus, the erstwhile Central Intelligence Agency director and former commander of US forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, argued in an op-ed that Washington needs to make clear that it will use force against Iran if it breaches “the nuclear threshold firewall” after year 15 of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. The more one knows about the Iran deal, the more obvious it becomes that it is not a deal so much as it is a fraud. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, the definition of a fraud is “something that is meant to look like the real thing in order to trick people.” That precisely describes the Iran deal. Virtually every claim made for it is either not true or insignificant.
