Arab Terrorist Shot While Hurling Explosive Device at Israel Border Police

Terrorist dead after being shot as he targeted Magav force with an improvised explosive device, as they were conducting a routine arrest in Jenin.

An Arab terrorist was killed while attacking Israeli forces in Jenin located in northern Shomron (Samaria) early Wednesday, medical and security sources said.

A statement from the police said a Border Patrol force was in Jenin to conduct arrests of terror suspects, reports AFP.

Israel’s PM Praises Nahal Hareidi Unit for Gallantry

Prime Minister Netanyahu complimented the hareidi infantry unit for its role in the eliminating someone who endangered Israeli citizens.

Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu paid compliments Sunday to the Nahal Hareidi battalion – the infantry unit that was created especially for hareidi soldiers, and which adheres to stricter codes of kashrut and separation of the sexes than other units.

The hareidi infantry unit played a role in the elimination of Hamza Abu Alheja and two other terrorists in Jenin.

“Over the weekend our forces struck at a terrorist who had organized attacks on Israelis and was also planning attacks on innocent civilians,” said Netanyahu at the start of Sunday’s Cabinet session. Continue Reading »

Israel sends terrorists’ bodies to Palestinian Authority

Israel late Sunday began the gradual handover of the remains of 36 Palestinians buried on its turf to the Palestinian Authority in a move reportedly aimed at boosting the ongoing peace talks between the two sides.

The deceased were militants laid to rest in “numbered graves” at a specially designated cemetery for enemy fatalities.

The transfer became possible after Israel’s High Court of Justice acquiesced to release the bodies following an appeal by Israeli human right groups and the Palestinian families of the late militants. Continue Reading »

A Border Guard volunteer shot to death a Palestinian Arab as he attempted to stab policeman with knife, during an operation to locate illegal aliens in the Petah Tikva area.

A Palestinian was shot to death Saturday morning by Border Guard volunteers, who were searching after illegal aliens in the area of Yarkon Cemetery in Petah Tikva. The Border Guard stated that a policeman shot the Palestinian after the latter attempted to stab him.

5 IDF Soldiers Wounded in Gaza; 4 Hamas Terrorists Killed

Five IDF soldiers were wounded near the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza on Thursday evening.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement that terrorists detonated an explosive device as IDF soldiers were working to blow up parts of the terror tunnel that was recently discovered by IDF soldiers, leading from Gaza into an Israeli kibbutz.

Palestinian sources reported Thursday evening that mortars were fired from Gaza in response to the limited entry of IDF forces into the Hamas-ruled coastal enclave, near the security fence. According to the sources, an IDF anti-tank shell was fired toward an are located east of the city of Khan Younis in north Gaza.

An Arab resident of a town near Jenin whom the Palestinian Authority accused the IDF of killing may very well have been killed by gunshots fired by PA police. The IDF is investigating the death of the Arab in Qabatiya, south of Jenin late Wedneday, and has found evidence indicating that the Arab was killed by PA gunfire.

NEW YORK – The Newseum, a media museum in Washington D.C., has stood by its decision to include two Palestinian ‘terrorists’ on its list honoring journalists killed in the line of duty.

A spokesperson for the museum said the two, who died in an Israeli airstrike on their vehicle in Gaza last November, would remain on its roll of slain reporters despite protests from Israel’s embassy in Washington.

“Hussam Salama and Mahmoud Al-Kumi were cameramen in a car clearly marked “TV.”’

IDF Shoots, Kills Terrorist Near Gaza Border

An IDF force shoots and hits a terrorist who was crawling towards Israel’s border with Gaza.

An IDF force shot and killed a terrorist near the security fence in northern Gaza on Tuesday night.

The force, which was conducting routine activity along the border fence, identified a suspicious man crawling toward the border. The force fired a tank shell at the terrorist and the IDF Spokesman said, according to a report on the Ma’ariv newspaper’s website, that the suspect was hit.

Over the past week, terrorists have tried to carry out several attacks. The IDF has foiled them.

Gun-toting terrorist was spotted digging in the ground. He was shot.

 

The IDF Spokesman’s Unit said Sunday that an IDF unit identified a terrorist Saturday evening near the central section of the security fence separating Gaza from Israel.

He was spotted as he was digging in the ground. The IDF unit fired at him and identified a hit on target. In the morning, the IDF combed the area and found the terrorist’s body. He had been carrying a Kalachnikov rifle.

No IDF soldiers were hurt.
