Guatemalan President, ‘It’s an honor to move our embassy to Jerusalem’

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met with Guatemalan President Jimmy Morales in Washington DC Sunday afternoon.

Relations between Israel and Guatemala have been very warm. President Morales announced in December that he was in favor in relocating the Guatemalan embassy in Israel to Jerusalem following US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Guatemala Court rejects attempt to prevent gov’t from moving embassy to Jerusalem

The Constitutional Court of Guatemala, the highest court for civil litigation in the country, rejected the incessant pro-Palestinian rhetoric that the transfer of the country’s embassy to Jerusalem would violate international law.

Guatemala’s Constitutional Court has rejected a local lawyer’s attempt to prevent the government from moving its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, as the US plans to do, a court spokesman said
Saturday.

  • Senior Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat portrayed U.S. President Donald Trump’s stance on Jerusalem as a ‘violation of international law, [that would] destroy the two-state solution.’

  • Hamas official: U.S. Embassy move “to Jerusalem is a declaration of war against the Arab and Muslim nation.”

RAMALLAH, West Bank/GAZA – Palestinians reacted on Friday with anger to reports that the United States will move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem within months, saying this could destroy the prospect of a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

Palestinian autocrat Abbas repeats: Jerusalem is only Arab, Islamic & Christian

While reiterating how Palestinian hands are extended to peace, which will be achieved through negotiations, PA chairman refuses to:

Palestinian Arabs Violently Chase American Diplomats Out of Bethlehem

Palestinian autocrat, Mahmoud Abbas’ abusive language directed at the American administration has manifested in Palestinians shoving American diplomats physically out of a building in Betlehem, and yelling “you are not welcome,” then hurling tomatoes and kicking the diplomat’s cars as they attempted to flee to safety back in Jerusalem.

U.S. State Dept. withholds additional $45 million pledged for Palestinian aid

Last month he United States pledged $45 million to the West Bank/Gaza Emergency Appeal, led by the the UN agency in charge of assisting exclusively Palestinian refugees, which just had $65 million withheld from their coffers.

Decision: State Dept. to convert U.S. Consulate in Jerusalem for new Embassy

White House officials announced plans to convert the Jerusalem Consulate building that has been in service since 1948, then moving its embassy staff there from Tel Aviv in 2019.

Egyptian authorities asking TV celebrities to tell Palestinians to accept Jerusalem declaration

Egyptian officials says that since many other renowned Muslims in the region have acknowledged that Jerusalem doesn’t really hold much religious significance for Islam, there’s really no reason why the Palestinians can’t accept Ramallah as their capital.

PLO: No peace talks with Israel until Trump annuls Jerusalem recognition

In the spirit of threats and thuggery, PLO official Saeb Erekat takes a shot at bullying President Trump by refusing to resume any future peace negotiations with Israel until the United States annuls its recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

The chief negotiator for the PA said that it will not resume any kind of peace negotiations with Israel until the United States walks back its recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Netanyahu: “This absurdity has to stop,” UNRWA needs to be eliminated

UNRWA is currently dealing with the great-grandchildren of refugees, and in another 70 years they will be dealing with great-great-grandchildren of refugees. “This absurdity has to stop,” PM Netanyahu declared. “UNRWA is an organization that perpetuates the problem of the Palestinian refugees… therefore UNRWA must disappear.”
