UNRWA staffers accused of widespread anti-Semitic posts with impunity

Amid scandalous accusations of top UNRWA officials with “sexual misconduct and abuses of authority for personal gain,” now, according to a UN Watch report, staff members & teachers have shared antisemitic posts on social media for years without fear of repercussion.

UNRWA staff members, including teachers regularly share antisemitic and pro-terrorism content on social media and face no consequences, according to NGO UN Watch.

New Zealand suspends funding UNRWA after Belgium, Dutch & Swiss

The IINZ report cites examples of UNRWA staff promoting terror & being affiliated with terror groups; gross incitement in school textbooks; ongoing allegations of corruption and inefficiency; and UNRWA perpetuating a “right of return” that Switzerland’s foreign minister, Ignazio Cassis, has deemed an “unrealistic dream” and a key reason UNRWA is “part of the problem.”

New Zealand has now joined the Swiss, Dutch, and Belgium governments in suspending donations to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) following an internal report that found “credible and corroborated” allegations of serious ethical abuses including “sexual misconduct, nepotism, retaliation, discrimination and other abuses of authority, for personal gain, to suppress legitimate dissent, and to otherwise achieve their personal objectives.” Continue Reading »

PLO scurrying to keep UNRWA mandate renewed by UN

PLO chief Erekat claims that the timing of the UN’s internal investigation of graft and sexual misconduct among UNRWA’s senior management was “consistent with US and Israeli efforts to dry up the resources of UNRWA.“
– Erekat also accused the Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium of “undermining the rights of Palestinian refugees” for suspending their funding of UNRWA.

The Palestinian leadership is worried that the mandate of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) may not be renewed this year due to charges of corruption in the agency.

The Palestinians are also concerned about the recent decision of the Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium to temporarily suspend funding for UNRWA in the aftermath of allegations of graft and sexual misconduct among the its senior management. Continue Reading »

US Envoy blasts UNRWA failures, urges “adult choices” from UNSC

WATCH: At the UN Security Council, US Mideast Envoy Jason Greenblatt, blasts UNRWA failures, blaming the Palestinian refugee organization for squandering the significant funds donated by many countries, including the $6 BILLION contributed by the U.S. alone.

President Donald Trump’s special envoy to the Middle East, Jason Greenblatt, said in a speech to the Security Council that the Palestinians would make a mistake if they did not come to the economic conference initiated by the United States in Bahrain.

Corbyn tweets ‘The UK must fill the gap’ after Trump ended UNRWA funding

Dedicated to aiding & supporting Israel’s enemies at all cost, and completely disregarding the US assessment to terminate the folly of endlessly funding an exponentially expanding parasitical community, the UK Labour leader calls on Britain to “fill the gap by boosting its contributions.”

UK Labour party leader Jeremy Corbyn took to social media Saturday evening to call the US’s decision to end its funding of UNRWA “shameful” and called it “a vital UN refugee agency.”
