Syrian Missiles Fired at Israel, All Fall Short, Inside Syria

— SPECIAL SECURITY REPORT —

In initial response to the second such attack from Syria toward Mount Hermon in northern Israel in less than a week, a military spokesperson reports, “IDF radars identified a number of anti-aircraft missiles fired from Syria,” but they posed no threat.

Several anti-aircraft missiles were fired toward Mount Hermon from Syria on Thursday, the second such incident in under a week.

“IDF radars identified a number of anti-aircraft missiles fired from Syria,” the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit told The Jerusalem Post, adding that none fell in Israeli territory or posed a threat.

YouTube back-steps, will now take down Holocaust deniers

YouTube says reversal of policy means it will now take aim at videos claiming “well-documented violent events” are hoaxes, conspiracy theories: such as Jews running the world, clips that glorify Nazi ideology and promotion of supremacy groups.

SAN FRANCISCO – YouTube said on Wednesday it would remove videos that deny factual catastrophes such as the Holocaust ever happened and stop sharing ad revenue with channels that skirt too close to its rules, a major policy reversal as it fights criticism that it provides a platform for hate speech and harassment.

Wounded Israeli & British vets join for sports & healing

More than 100 Israeli and British injured veterans joined in Israel for the inaugural Veteran Games and Conference, a five-day event hosted by Zahal Disabled Veterans’ Organization at the Beit Halochem rehab, rec and sports centers in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem for disabled vets and their families.

Israel, Russia, U.S. to meet in Jerusalem over Iranian presence in Syria

EXPOSED: McDonald’s boycotts West Bank

Samarian Regional Council Head Yossi Dagan has charged McDonald’s boycott of Judea and Samaria as illegal under Israeli law, hence that should disqualifiy it from participating in a tender to open a branch at Ben Gurion Airport.

McDonald’s should not be given a tender to open at Ben Gurion Airport because it will not open branches in Judea and Samaria communities, a Samaria leader has charged.

The unwillingness to open McDonald’s franchises in Judea and Samaria is a boycott and therefore illegal under Israeli law, Samarian Regional Council Head Yossi Dagan has charged, Ynet reported.

“A company that boycotts part of the state must not be allowed to compete in government tenders,” Dagan said in a letter this week to Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon, Transport Minister Israel Katz and Airports Authority director-general Yaakov Ganot. Continue Reading »

2 Missiles fired at Israel from Syria

IDF reports no damage or injuries from the one missile that exploded near Mount Hermon, the second fell short landing in Syria.

Two missiles were fired from Syria toward Israel’s Golan Heights on Saturday night, the IDF confirmed.

The military said it was checking reports that one of the missiles landed near the Mount Hermon ski resort while the other landed inside Syrian territory.
