Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused world powers on Sunday of stepping up concessions to Iran to enable a deal by June 30 on curbing its nuclear program even as Tehran balks at demands for heightened UN inspections.

Report: Israel Plans Creation of Buffer Zone to Save Syrian Druze

Israel intends to create a humanitarian buffer zone inside Syria, along its border, in order to help that country’s Druze, according to the Walla News web site. Israel is in contact with the Red Cross and various countries regarding the buffer zone.

Abdallah Ghanayem, 21, died after being struck by the vehicle during clashes that erupted in the village of Kfar Malik following a dawn Israeli army raid, the Palestinian Authority sources said.

An IDF spokesman confirmed to AFP that a Palestinian had died – after he threw an incendiary device at a jeep and the vehicle overturned on him.

Spanish court suspends 2010 Gaza flotilla investigation against Israel

A Madrid court has decided to temperately shelve its probe into the Israeli leaders of the raid on the Mavi Marmara.

A Madrid court on Thursday shelved a five-year-old investigation into the Israeli raid on the Gaza-bound Marmara flotilla.

The investigation could potentially be re-opened if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ever visits Spain.

The 2010 raid killed nine Turkish activists, while a tenth Turk died four years later from his injuries. Spanish activists were also present on the ships.
