UK’s Muslim MP blames his jail conviction on ‘Jewish Conspiracy’

 

The UK’s Arab, Lord Ahmed claims his prison sentence for killing motorist while texting was due to pressure on court by the Jews who “own newspapers, television”, not jurisprudence.

LONDON – A British politician who was jailed after sending a text message while driving on a motorway, which killed another motorist, has blamed his fate on a Jewish conspiracy.

Lord Nazir Ahmed, 55, who became one of the first Muslim peers in the UK after former Prime Minister Tony Blair appointed him in 1998, has said that his prison sentence was a result of pressure applied on the court by Jews “who own newspapers and television channels,” the Times said on Thursday.

Torah Written by More Than 200,000 Jews Dedicated at the Kotel

The new Sefer Torah, written by over 200 thousand Jews during the past 7 years, was dedicated at the Western Wall.

A new Sefer Torah (Torah scroll) was dedicated at the Western Wall in Jerusalem this past Tuesday, which was Rosh Chodesh Nissan.

Arutz Sheva attended the dedication ceremony of the unique scroll, which was written by over 200 thousand people from all continents over a seven-year period. The project began in 2006, during the Second Lebanon War, and over 100 thousand soldiers wrote letters for the scroll as well.

The project was led by Igor Kolomoisky, President of the European Jewish Union (EJU), Vadim Rabinovich, Co-chair of the European Jewish Parliament (EJP) and Head of All-Ukrainian Jewish Congress, Genadiy Bogolubov, businessmen, and Alexandr Levin,  President of the World Congress of Russian speaking Jewry. 400 Police officers raid criminals’ homes in Negev

At the crack of dawn on Wednesday, over 400 police officers raided the homes of suspected weapons and stolen property-holders in the Negev. This was one of the biggest campaigns known to the Southern Police District.

According to latest updates from the intensive negotiations between Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Yesh Atid’s MK Rabbi Shai Piron will be the next Minister of Education.

Bayit Yehudi will be in charge of the Knesset’s Finance Committee.

There are conflicting reports about other details agreed between the parties. According to one report, Gideon Saar, who wanted to stay on as Education Minister, will be appointed Minister of Interior. Egyptian censor halts film on Jewish community from being shown

One day before documentary was scheduled for screening in local cinemas, Egyptian security agencies block the film about Egypt’s Jewish community during the first half of the 20th century, prior to their expulsion.

The filmmakers report no reasons were given for the decision.

Bezons Mayor defends honoring PFLP Assassin of MK Rehavam Ze’evi

A French mayor whose municipality recently honored the Palestinian murderer of an Israeli minister defended the move and accused critics of “hatred” and “complicity in occupation.”

Mayor Dominique Lesparre of the Paris suburb of Bezons said in a statement released Wednesday that his municipality’s vote last month to name Majdi Al-Rimawi an honorary resident was part of a “tradition of peace, solidarity and cooperation with the Palestinian people.”

The High Court of Justice announced Tuesday that it intends to issue an order nisi instructing the State to explain why it is not rescinding the infiltration prevention law. The law allows the state to detain foreigners entering Israel via Sinai for a period of three or more years even if they are not up for deportation.

Hamas Terrorist Near Hevron Killed by IDF Troops

A Palestinian Authority Arab terrorist was shot and killed by IDF soldiers, during a clash that broke out on Tuesday evening between soldiers and Arabs in Al-Fawwar, near Hevron.

Two other Arabs were wounded in the incident. The Palestinian Red Cross evacuated them to hospital and their condition is not clear.

An initial investigation of the incident, conducted by the IDF’s Judea Brigade, found that it began when Arabs started throwing firebombs and rocks at Israeli cars traveling on Highway 60, the main road in the area. Continue Reading »

PA arrests Palestinian over participating in Al Jazeera course

The journalist, Tarek al-Sarkaji, said that if visiting Qatar were a crime in the eyes of the PA security forces, then they should also arrest PA President Mahmoud Abbas for visiting the Gulf country.

Al-Sarkaji, who lives in Nablus and also works as a TV producer, said his problems began when he return to the West Bank after attending a training course for the Doha-based Al-Jazeera TV station.
