Members threaten ‘Jewish’ Country Club with lawsuit to keep Obama out

 

Members of the Woodmont Country Club are threatening litigation & lawsuits against the mostly Jewish golf club if it waives its bylaws to accommodate Obama membership in light of the U.S.’s anti-Israel vote at the UN.

An upscale country club is debating whether to grant outgoing President of the United States Barack Obama membership due to his contentious relationship with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, The New York Post, citing a confidential source reported Wednesday.

A number of members of the mostly Jewish Woodmont Country Club in Maryland are demanding that Obama be rejected from joining, according to The Post, citing his decision not to veto an anti-settlement resolution in the UN Security Council late last year

On December 23, UNSC resolution 2334 was adopted after the US abstained from vetoing the decision, which condemned settlement construction in east Jerusalem and the West Bank, outraging officials in Jerusalem.

Ramifications to yesterday’s UNSC resolution: Legal boycotts, sanctions & ICC lawsuits

In light of White House aide Ben Rhodes’ admission last Thursday that the public was misled on the controversial Iran nuclear deal, senior author and commentator Lt. Col. Ralph Peters on Monday quipped that brutal Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin “could have used this guy.”

Rhodes admitted that while the American public was led to believe that negotiations between the West and the Islamic Republic took off after the election of President Hassan Rouhani in 2013, who was touted as a “moderate,” in reality negotiations with hard-liners began much earlier.
