Obama to allow PA-sponsored anti-Israel UN resolution for personal legacy

Only a month after Abbas formally rejected the latest U.S. peace proposal from visiting VP Biden, Obama plans to reward Palestinian intransigence by not vetoing upcoming anti-Israel UN security council resolution condemning settlements, to pressure Israel into entering new round of peace talks.

By Nitsan Keidar

US President Barack Obama may manipulate a vote over the Palestinian Authority (PA)’s UN resolution condemning Israeli “settlements” to boost his own legacy, White House sources said Monday.

Obama is allegedly willing to remain silent on the vote in order to further his own agenda in the Middle East, officials said, and instead, promote his own outline for a series of US-led talks. Continue Reading »

White House gives Palestinian killer of US citizens a mere slap on the wrist

Although Deif masterminded the bombings in which hundreds of Israelis, as well as a number of Americans were murdered, the State Dept has ‘blacklisted’ him, instead of issuing warrants for his arrest.

By Stephen M. Flatow/JNS.org

The Obama administration announced Sept. 8 that it is putting Mohammed Deif and three other Palestinian terrorists on its “designated terrorists” list. That’s basically a slap on the wrist—for someone who should be subjected to U.S. prosecution, not U.S. name-calling.

Deif was trained in the art of bomb making by the infamous Hamas leader Yehya Ayyash, nicknamed “The Engineer.” When Ayyash was killed in 1995, Deif was chosen as his successor.

By Ben Ariel

AGAIN: White House Tries to Shame Israel To Manipulate Netanyahu

Conspicuously timed declassification of secret gov’t documents seems aimed at shaming Israel into supporting Obama’s dangerous nuclear deal with Iran by equating the Jewish state’s nuclear program with that of Iran’s.

By Israel Today Staff

While it flew somewhat under the radar of the mainstream news cycle, the Obama Administration last week apparently tried to shame Israel into supporting its dangerous Iran nuclear deal by declassifying historic documents regarding the Jewish state’s own nuclear program.

Many saw it as no accident that the Nixon-era State Department documents were made public just as Israel is leading the charge to have Obama’s Iran nuclear agreement defeated in Congress. Continue Reading »

Presidential Candidate Ben Carson: Yes, Obama’s Actions Are Anti-Semitic

‘Anything that is against the survival of Israel, who is surrounded by enemies, and then act like everything is normal there, and that these (Jewish) people are paranoid, I think that’s anti-Semitic,’ says Republican candidate.

By Gil Ronen

Will American Jews Turn ‘Never Again’ Pledge Into Empty Slogan?

Op-ed: American Jews, who traditionally have been overwhelmingly Democrat, need to choose if the Jewish state’s security & survival trump the legacy of, & loyalty to, a lame duck president that Israel feels is endangering it.

By Shoula Romano Horing

After World War II, Jews everywhere promised that never again would they be silent or sit idly by while evil tries to destroy the Jewish people. Iranian leaders have repeatedly promised to destroy the Jewish state. It appears that the nuclear deal will give them the means to do it.

In Michael Oren’s new book, the new Knesset Member describes his impressions from when he was Israel’s  ambassador to the United States between 2009-2013.

By HERB KEINON

President Barack Obama endorsed the Palestinian position on the 1967 lines in 2011 and by so doing altered more than 40 years of American policy without prior consultation with Israel, former ambassador to the US Michael Oren writes in a book to be published later this month.

Obama’s Interview on Israel TV2 Demonstrated His Embrace of the Palestinian Narrative

Despite his comments on ‘the Jewish experience’, Obama’s interview for TV2 only reassured the Israeli viewers that he supports the Palestinian cause.

By Tsvi Sadan

The interview President Obama gave to veteran Israeli journalist Ilana Dayan went very well. In her Hebrew introduction, Dayan said that being the first black president, Obama had “changed America forever.” While she failed to explain how skin color had changed America, viewers at home could tell by the tone of Dayan’s voice that whatever change to which she was referring must have been a good change.

With such an intro, it wasn’t surprising that contrary to promos suggesting Obama would put all his cards on the table, Dayan delivered an irritating interview showing a smug president having fun with one of his admirers. Continue Reading »

WATCH: Obama Interview for Israel TV2 Threaten to Cut US Support at UN

In an open attack against PM Netanyahu, President Obama says if Israel doesn’t renew peace talks with the Palestinians, he will have to make adjustments in US’s position at the UN.

By Ari Yashar

US President Barack Obama gave an interview with Israeli media on Tuesday, in which he threatened that an Israeli refusal to renew peace talks with the Palestinian Authority (PA) will “make it hard” for the US to veto motions in the UN against Israel.

In an interview with Ilana Dayan for Channel 2‘s “Uvda” (Fact) TV show aired Tuesday night, Obama commented on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s statements before elections in which he said that a Palestinian state won’t be founded on his watch. Continue Reading »

Pulitzer-prize winning foreign-affairs columnist Bret Stephens tells Jerusalem to revive its past strategies, when Israel wasn’t afraid to go ‘rogue,’ because since Obama, the US isn’t the US anymore.

By Ari Yashar

In a Wall Street Journal op-ed, Pulitzer-prize winning journalist and deputy-editor of the paper Bret Stephens argued on Monday that due to US President Barack Obama’s irreversible actions, the US doesn’t have Israel’s back anymore – and Israel should learn to stand on its own.

A Succinct But Complete Chronology of Obama’s Anti-Israel Hatred

During Obama’s presidency, the US had supplied Israel more military aid than any previous administration, but, never has such support to a loyal ally been so diluted by constant political attacks, policy changes and public humiliations.

By Ben Shapiro

For some odd reason, many in the media and Congress reacted with surprise to Obama’s supposedly sudden turn on Israel. The media, in an attempt to defend Obama’s radicalism, pretend that Netanyahu’s comments in the late stages of his campaign prompted Obama’s anti-Israel action.

But, in truth, this is the culmination of a longtime Obama policy of destroying the US-Israel relationship; Obama has spent his entire life surrounded by haters of Israel, from former Palestine Liberation Organization spokesman Rashid Khalidi to former Jimmy Carter National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski, pro-Hamas negotiator Robert Malley to UN Ambassador Samantha Power (who once suggested using American troops to guard Palestinians from Israelis), Jeremiah Wright (who said “Them Jews ain’t going to let him talk to me”) to Professor Derrick Bell (“Jewish neoconservative racists…are undermining blacks in every way they can”).
