UPDATED: 3 uniformed Israelis injured, Arab driver shot in apparent car-ramming attack

Three Israelis, two identified as Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers and one a Border Police officer, were lightly injured in a suspected car-ramming attack in the northern city of Acre on Sunday.

The driver of the vehicle was shot and seriously wounded in attempts to subdue him.

Palestinian incitement in ‘car intifada’ against Israelis used in their media.

Police said that the background of the incident remains unknown, but that they were investigating the possibility that the incident was nationalistically motivated.

Palestinian shot dead while ramming car into 70 yr-old Israeli, lightly-moderately wounded

 

70 yr-old Israeli man determined lightly-to-moderately injured after a Palestinian terrorist drove his car into him at the Gush Etzion intersection.
– An IDF force securing the area opened fire at the terrorist’s car  neutralizing him.

Another attack at the Gush Etzion junction. A Palestinian driving a private car hit a 70-year-old pedestrian on Wednesday afternoon, injuring him lightly. The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said that an IDF force fired at the terrorist who was killed as a result.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Office confirmed it was a terrorist vehicular ramming attack. The terrorist was identified as Suheib Mashahra, 21, from the village of Sawahra, east of Jerusalem. Continue Reading »

A Palestinian terrorist was shot and killed Wednesday morning after driving his vehicle into two Border Police officers in east Jerusalem’s A-Tur neighborhood.

According to Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld, the attack took place shortly before 10 a.m. when the unidentified assailant rammed his car into a male and female officer, who sustained light-to moderate wounds to their legs and hips.

In what appears to be the third terror attack against Jews in about 24 hours, an Arab driver plowed down four people Saturday evening on the Kohanim Route in eastern Jerusalem.

Hamam Mesalmeh, who drove a van with Palestinian license plates that slammed into 3 IDF soldiers on guard duty, turned himself in after family members, including his father, were arrested.

The lead suspect thought responsible for ramming a car into three soldiers in Gush Etzion on Wednesday turned himself in to security forces on Thursday afternoon, after his father and other family members were arrested, Israel Radio reported.

Palestinian ‘Car intifada’ cartoon campaign calls Arabs for vehicular attacks

In wake of wave of brutal vehicular terror attacks against Israelis, the Palestinians distribute cartoons depicting cars to Hamas rockets on the social networks.

After two vehicular terror attacks occurred on Wednesday, wounding 16 people and killing one, Palestinians have termed their latest resistance efforts a “car intifada” and are posting cartoons online likening vehicles to rockets launched by Hamas during Operation Protective Edge.
