Hamas Official Proclaims ‘Silent Intifada’ in Jerusalem

 

Hamas official Mahmoud Zahar condemns PA forces that ‘suppress intifada against Israel,’ calling for more Jerusalem violence as ‘the solution to Israeli aggression.’

Hamas official Mahmoud Zahar, declared the constant cycle of violence in Jerusalem an “intifada” on Saturday night, making rumors of a so-called “silent intifada” official despite declarations from the Israeli security establishment that statements to that effect are exaggerated.

“Escalating the resistance in the city is the solution to Israeli aggression,” Zahar told Hamas news agency Al-Risala.

Zahar also slammed the Hamas-Palestinian Authority (PA) “unity government”‘s security coordination with Israel.

“The security coordination is a problem in that is suppresses the intifada against Israeli aggression,” he stated. Continue Reading »

Hamas source tells Turkish press: Israel seized bodies of 2 Hamas fighters in Gaza war

The Palestinian sources told Turkish news agency that a subsequent Hamas investigation revealed 2 of their elite fighters fell in battle with IDF troops near Khan Younis.

Palestinian sources on Sunday told Turkish news agency Anatolia that Israel is holding the bodies of two Hamas field commanders missing since the end of the 50-day conflict in Gaza during the summer.

According to the sources, Anatolia said, the fate of the two bodies, both belonging to members of Hamas’ military wing, was uncovered after a month-long intensive investigation.

The Palestinian sources named the Hamas men as Basel Abu al-Naja, and Ibrahim al-Amur, saying they were both members of the Hamas elite forces, the news agency said. Continue Reading »

Egyptian Soldiers Die Destroying Hamas Smuggling Tunnel From Gaza

Egyptian army officers among the dead when Hamas-run smuggling tunnel from Gaza collapses during demolition operation.

Two Egyptian army officers and a soldier were killed Saturday when a smuggling tunnel connecting Sinai and the Gaza Strip collapsed as they were preparing to blow it up, officials said.

One soldier was injured and another missing in the collapse, which happened as troops were planting explosives.

The army says it has destroyed more than 1,600 such tunnels – most of them since the ouster of president Mohamed Morsi last year – which the Hamas terrorist group uses to smuggle in arms, equipment and money. Continue Reading »

Hamas official: Destroying Israel would be easier from the West Bank

NY Law Firm Lists Hamas’ Violations of Int’l Law Since Gaza War Crimes Ignored by UN

In advance of the UN Human Rights Council investigation of Israeli “war crimes” in Gaza this summer, the Lawfare Project has compiled a detailed list of “Hamas’s Violations of International Law.”

The UNHRC has appointed a three-member committee to investigate “all violations of international humanitarian law” during the recent war in Gaza. It explained its one-sided intentions by “condemn[ing] in the strongest terms the widespread, systematic and gross violations of international human rights and fundamental freedoms arising from the Israeli military operations…”

Hamas Arrests Gaza Terrorists Responsible for Mortar Fire on Israel

 

Israeli defense officials report that Hamas has arrested the renegade terrorists responsible for a non-sanctioned mortar attack on Israel’s southern region.

Senior defense officials said on Tuesday night that Hamas has arrested the terrorists who were responsible for the mortar fire on the Eshkol region earlier in the evening.

According to the officials, Hamas had passed a message to Israel after the shooting that it would arrest and punish those responsible for the shooting, and did just that.

Musa Abu Marzouk, a political leader of Hamas based in Egypt, said that the phenomenon was “dangerous.”
