Tip from Mossad leads to EU adding Iranian intelligence unit to terror blacklist

Two months after Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu reveled how the Mossad “helped uncover two terrorist attacks – one in Paris, and the other one in Copenhagen, organized by the Iranian secret service,” the EU decided to put a unit of the Iranian Intelligence ministry on its terror list.

Mossad tasked with securing Jewish communities abroad

The Mossad received about $2.8 million to increase security for Jewish communities worldwide after surveys showed 40% of European Jews are considering emigrating because they don’t feel safe.

The Mossad recently received more than NIS 10 million from one of the government ministries, with the aim of increasing security of Jewish community institutions around the world.

The money is intended to support local security forces and help coordinate various actions to protect Jews in the Diaspora.

Former Head of Mossad joins ranks at private Israeli intel firm, Black Cube

Having been embarrassingly outed in a few past operations, Ephraim Halevy, who headed the Mossad, is being recruited by the private Israeli intelligence firm to help screen potential clients as to prevent further scandals for the company.

Former Mossad chief Efraim Halevy will be joining Israeli private intelligence firm Black Cube, which has been mired in international scandals.

Halevy will sit on the company’s board of directors, head its client screening committee, and serve as a senior adviser on operational and intelligence issues, a source told Yedioth Ahronoth.

Israel’s Mossad security service aids Denmark in foiling an Iranian intelligence service mission to assassinate three anti-Iranian regime leaders, living there in exile.

Israeli intelligence services aided Denmark in foiling a recent assassination attempt by Iranian agents, Israeli media outlets reported Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Denmark announced that it had recalled its ambassador to Iran, after it accused Tehran of plotting to assassinate three Iranian nationals residing in Denmark, AFP reported.

“I have decided to recall Denmark’s ambassador in Tehran for consultations… Denmark can in no way accept that people with ties to Iran’s intelligence service plot attacks against people in Denmark,” Danish Foreign Minister Anders Samuelsen was quoted as having told reporters. Continue Reading »

REPORTED: Mossad foiled an Iranian terrorist attack in Paris last month

Israel’s TVNews 2 reported how the secret Israeli intelligence agency, working with their European counterparts in Belgium, France and Germany, caught the Iranian terrorist cell while carrying explosive devices to attack a conference of Iranian dissidents.

The Israeli intelligence Agency Mossad foiled an Iranian terrorist attack in Paris, France last month, News 2 reported.

The terrorist cell, headed by an Iranian diplomat based in Vienna, planned to attack a conference of Iranian dissidents that was held in Paris. Thousands of people attended the conference, including US President Donald Trump’s adviser Rudy Giuliani.

US President Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner, and Middle East special envoy Jason Greenblatt lead conference of intel chiefs from moderate Arab countries, that included the head of Israel’s Mossad.

Beneath the surface, relations between Israel and moderate Arab countries are growing, but a significant expression of this was given ten days ago at a secret and joint meeting of heads of intelligence agencies from all over the region.

The conference was initiated by senior adviser and son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, Jared Kushner, and Middle East special envoy Jason Greenblatt.

Al-Arabiya news: Mossad assassinated Iranian operatives in Libya

The Saudi Al-Arabiya news network reported Monday that Israel’s security and special operations agency is responsible for the deaths of two Revolutionary Guards members who arrived in Libya seeking to obtain uranium.

Israel’s intelligence agency, the Mossad, was responsible for the liquidation of two Revolutionary Guards members in Libya, the Saudi Al-Arabiya news network reported Monday.

Mossad agents allegedly followed the two men when they were still in Tunisia, and killed them after they crossed the border to Libya.

Malaysian police on Monday released computer generated photographs of two men suspected of gunning down a Palestinian Hamas weapons engineer on Saturday in Kuala Lumpur.

Two men on a motorcycle fired at least 14 shots at Fadi al-Batsh, an engineering lecturer, but also a Hamas drones and rockets expert, killing him on the spot.

Former cyber security official arrested for framing Lebanese actor as Israeli spy

Lebanese actor Ziad Itani, who was arrested in November for spying for Israel, fell victim to a plot hatched by the former (now, herself arrested) Lebanese cyber security official, Maj. Susan Hajj Hobeiche.

It is now evident that Itani fell victim to a plot hatched by Major Susan Hajj Hobeiche, the former head of the Lebanese Anti-Cybercrime and Intellectual Property Bureau who was arrested Friday.

Lebanon: ‘Wonder Woman’ is Mossad Agent

Lebanese daily newspaper Al Liwaa is claiming Gal Gadot is actually a ‘Mossad agent’ who allegedly recruited Lebanese actor and director Ziad Itani to spy for Israel.

Israeli actress Gal Gadot was depicted as the “Mossad Agent” who turned Lebanese actor and director Ziad Itani into an Israeli spy in a story published Monday by the Lebanese daily newspaper Al Liwaa.

Gadot’s photo was displayed on the paper’s front page with the caption: “The officer of the Israeli Mossad, Collette Vianfi, who recruited Ziad Itani.”

Other Lebanese news websites questioned the authenticity of the picture published by the newspaper, with some claiming they made a mistake as Gadot was not the “Mossad agent” Itani was accused of cooperating with. Continue Reading »

According to the Hezbollah-affiliated newspaper Al-Akhbar, one of the three Lebanese nationals arrested confessed to working with the Mossad.

According to Arab media reports, Mohammad Bazam, 29, a former Gaza Strip resident who spent time in an Israeli prison for a series of security offenses, was shot once in the neck and once in the head by two assailants in his home. The Mossad has called on entrepreneurs and innovators to develop new technologies for Israel’s intelligence agency in cutting edge fields such as energy harvesting, data encryption, and automated identification technologies.

Israel’s Security and Intelligence agency, Mossad, has announced that it will set up a fund to invest in technological innovation, the agency said in a press released on Tuesday.

An initial investment of 10,000,000 shekels (nearly three million dollars) will fund research and development programs of Israeli start-ups to develop new technologies for the intelligence agency.

According to the press release, the fund known as Libertad, is intended to “provide innovative capability for maintaining and developing the Mossad’s technological superiority by connecting to civilian cutting-edge technological startup companies.” Continue Reading »

A series of advertisements published in national newspapers is aimed at drawing female recruits to the agency, whose staff is comprised of about 40 percent women – with 24 percent of those women occupying key top-level roles, according to Israeli news site Ynet.
