Teheran: Saudis plotting with Israel on new computer worm to sabotage Iranian nuclear program

The Iranian state-owned news agency reports that last week, the Saudi spy agency & Israel’s Mossad hashed out a proposal for production of malware ‘worse than the Stuxnet.’

 

 

Israel and Saudi Arabia are reportedly collaborating to create a new destructive computer worm to “spy on and destroy the software structure” of Iran‘s nuclear program, the semi-official Iranian news agency Fars said over the weekend.

Fars, the outlet of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, quoted “an informed source” close to the Saudi secret service as saying that Saudi spy chief Prince Bandar bin Sultan and Mossad head Tamir Pardo each sent a representative to Vienna on November 24 with the purpose of increasing the “‘two sides’ cooperation in intelligence and sabotage operations against Iran’s nuclear program.” Continue Reading »

US Tells Paris: Israel Behind Elysee Palace Hacking

Leaked document by Edward Snowden: France believed U.S. was behind a cyber attack on the Elysee Palace but White House pointed finger at Mossad.

France believed the United States attempted to hack into its president’s communications network but the U.S. hinted that Israel was behind the attack, AFP reported on Friday, based on a leaked U.S. intelligence document.

According to the report, U.S. agents denied having anything to do with the May 2012 cyber attack on the Elysee Palace, the official residence of French presidents, and appeared to hint at the possible involvement of the Mossad, Israel’s intelligence agency. Continue Reading »

Israel to Give 4 Million to Family of ‘Prisoner X’

The Family of Ben Zygier, the ex-Mossad agent who died in jail, will receive 4 million shekels compensation.

Israel has signed an agreement with the family of former Mossad agent Ben Zygier, Channel 2 reports. The state will pay 4 million shekels in compensation to the family for Zygier’s death in an Israeli prison in December 2010.

Zygier managed to commit suicide in a solitary confinement cell, despite being under supervision.

According to the report, 2,400,000 shekels will be paid this year, and another 400,000 will be given per year for the four years that follow. Continue Reading »

‘Spy’ stork arrested, interrogated, released then eaten in Egypt

 

Last week, after a stork was caught in Egypt wearing a tracking device, the police held it on suspicion it was a Mossad spy for Israel. After its release, stork hunted down, then eaten.

Menes the stork was caught in Egypt last week and held by authorities on suspicion of being used to spy for Israel, due to the tracking device attached to its leg. Just days after its release into the wild, it was hunted down and eaten, according to the UK’s Guardian.

Egyptian Security Arrests Duck, as ‘Zionist Spy’

Egypt’s Police arrests water fowl suspected of being an Israeli spy, maybe for the Mossad.

Egyptian police have arrested a duck that they fear was sent by Israel as a spy, Egypt’s Al-Ahram news agency reports.

The bird was spotted by a fisherman in the Nile River, in the Qena region, as it swam with other birds. The fisherman noticed that the bird had a device attached to its feathers, which he feared could be used to gather information.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to appoint Deputy Mossad Director Yossi Cohen as the new national security advisor. Cohen, 52, married and the father of four, was only known as “Y” until recently. He will be replacing Major-General Yaakov Amidror.

Cohen has been serving in Israel’s security establishment for the past 30 years. In the last two years he served as deputy to the chief of Mossad, Tamir Pardo. The U.S. intelligence community has been leaking information on Israeli air strikes in Syria, and U.S. President Barack Obama is behind the leaks, according to a report in the World Tribune.

Diplomats told the Tribune that the Obama administration has enabled the U.S. intelligence community to disclose details of Israeli military operations against the armed forces under Syrian President Bashar Assad. Turkish authorities have “cleared a renegade bird captured in the Ağın district of the eastern province of Elazığ on suspicions of working for Israel’s state-of-the-art intelligence agency,” the Hurriyet newspaper reported Friday.

Source inside Israel Prison Service: 2nd ‘Prisoner X’ held in total isolation for years

Unidentified testimony provided to Haaretz describes harsh conditions in which the other ‘Prisoner X’ is being held.

On Tuesday, the Rishon Letzion Magistrate’s Court heard testimony that another Israeli is being held in total solitary confinement in one of the most secure prisons in Israel – the same prison in which the Mossad agent Ben Zygier was held. According to the testimony, the cell is well guarded and without windows. The prisoner has no contact with other prisoners or with his guards, who know nothing of his identity or the details of the indictment against him.

Court gives fake Mossad agent to 27 months prison for impersonation

Man sentenced for lying to continue romantic relationship with woman and ordered to pay for extorted funds from a security adviser.

 

 

Shai Raz, who impersonated the deputy head of the Mossad in order to fraudulently obtain funds and maintain a romantic relationship with a woman, was sentenced on Sunday by the Rehovot Magistrate’s Court to 27 months in prison.
