WATCH: Tel Aviv paints handicapped space around car, then tows it.

Security cameras in Tel Aviv documented a Tel Aviv municipality worker painting handicapped space markings around a vehicle parked legally in the city, resulting in the car being towed shortly afterward, to its owner’s chagrin.

The security camera video was obtained by the vehicle’s angry owner as part of her efforts to fight the fine she was assessed for parking in a handicapped space. The video and story of Tel Aviv resident Hila’s fight against the city went viral in Israel on Tuesday.

Grenades, LAW Missiles & RPGs found at Arab village school in the Galilee

Special Police Unit uncovers weapons cache at kindergarten, school for special needs students.
The police believe that the weapons were likely intended for criminal use.

Anti-tank missiles and rocket-propelled grenades were found stashed in a school and a kindergarten for special needs children in the Galilee village of Abu Sanaan, during a raid by police on Tuesday morning.

Pictures put out by police show three LAW missiles and four RPGs, all of which were recently stolen from IDF weapons depots. The arms were found in a drainage canal and a small pond on the ground of the school and kindergarten, along with raw explosives, grenades, and hundreds of assault rifle bullets.

Education Minister Says Study Claiming Palestinian Textbooks Don’t Vilify Jews “biased & unprofessional”

In contrast to the cold Israeli reaction, the office of Palestinian PM Salam Fayyad released a statement saying that he “expresses his satisfaction with a main finding of a study … that confirms that Palestinian textbooks do not contain any form of blatant incitement, which is based on contempt towards the ‘other’.”

Israel Water Authority Declares End to Water Crisis

While Israeli claims of Palestinian incitement are far from uncommon, the international study showed them to be largely baseless and accused both sides of a one-sided narrative.

Petition to require Facebook to close anti-Israel page

In violation of Facebook’s own ‘Community Standards’ the “Fuck Israel” page, which has 36,000 “likes” as of Monday, features such sentiments as “God bless Adolf Hitler for what he did,” “Jews are children of apes and pigs … they are baby killers,” and “I hate Israel,” continues to attract the support of anti-Semites.

A brochure published by Bar Ilan University, Israel’s only religious university, contains the outrageous claim that Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria and IDF soldiers sexually harass Arab women. The claim is not contested in the brochure.

A young Arab woman in Jericho was bitten on her foot by a poisonous viper in 2008. When the local clinic was unable to treat her, an Israeli ambulance jeep drove the woman almost two hours through the Jordan Valley to Emek Medical Center, where the anti-venom serum was available. She was already unconscious at that point, but her life was saved  in the nick of time.

600 Palestinians worked at the SodaStream factory in the Mishor Adumim industrial park, next to the West Bank settlement of Maale Adumim before it was forced to relocate.

The Palestinian Authority reiterated Sunday its refusal to return to the negotiating table unless Israel stopped settlement construction and released Palestinian prisoners.

ErekatIn response to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s call for reviving stalled peace talks with the PA, chief PLO negotiator Saeb Erekat said that the Palestinians were not setting conditions for returning to the negotiating table.

“These are not Palestinian conditions, but obligations that Israel is required to fulfill,” Erekat said.

The Civil Authority and the IDF has cleared out 20,000 cubic tons of trash from an illegal Arab dump in Samaria, after ongoing appeals from an environmental organization. The Yarok Achshav (“Green Now”) group expressed its satisfaction at the resolution of the issue, preventing further damage to the environment by Arabs in the area.

Terrorist apprehended in West Bank, including 2 Hamas MPs

IDF special forces conduct overnight sweep in major Palestinian cities in Judea & Samaria; 9 Hamas legislators among the 25 Palestinians taken in for questioning

Palestinian sources reported Monday that Israeli security forces conducted an overnight sweep in the West Bank, arresting 25 Palestinians including nine senior members of Hamas.

PFLPIDF forces arrested nine of the Islamist movement’s members in Nablus and two of its parliament members – Hatem Qafisheh and Mohammed al-Tal in Hebron.

Hamas MP Ahmed Atun was detained in Ramallah and another MP was arrested in the West Bank city of Qalqilya.
