American Jews divided if right to bear arms is ‘Kosher’

Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership said it joined with the Golani Rifle & Pistol Club to oppose the rabbinical groups’ positions and “affirm the importance of armed self-defense by Jews and all Americans.”

UEA donates 50 mobile homes to Gaza’s homeless

According to Hamas housing ministry, 9,800 homes were destroyed during Israel’s ‘Operation Protective Edge’. With some families beginning to enter newly donated mobile homes, the rehabilitation process is starting.

Fifty Palestinian families made homeless by Israeli bombing during the summer’s fierce offensive on the Gaza Strip were rehoused Saturday in mobile homes in the southern town of Khan Yunis.

During the 50-day conflict, 9,800 homes were totally destroyed and another 8,000 left uninhabitable, according to data from the housing ministry in Gaza.

Israel to sign a visa-waiver program with Belarus

British chief whip: Europe has forgotten the Holocaust – fanning the flames of anti-Semitism.

Michael Gove, the UK Chief Whip, says far from eradicating the hatred of Jews, anti-Semitism in Europe is now considered ‘chic’ by some.

 

Europe has forgotten the warning of the Holocaust and is plagued by a “virus” of anti-Semitism, Chief Whip Michael Gove said, adding that the hatred of Jews has attained a “radical chic” in certain circles, U.K. daily The Telegraph reported.

In his address to the annual dinner of the Holocaust Education Trust, Gove also accused pro-Palestinian activists of a “deliberate” campaign of “relativisation, trivialization and perversion” of the Holocaust by comparing the Israeli government to the Nazis, warning that this campaign is fanning the flames of anti-Semitism.

In a sharply-worded letter sent late last month, French parliamentarian Meyer Habib (pictured) slammed French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius for accusing Israel of war crimes in Gaza, even as his boss, President Francois Hollande, struck a far different tone.
