During the debate over a divestment resolution, University of Wisconsin anti-Israel activists called the Jewish community “oppressors”, saying Jewish students oppose divestment against Israel because it threatens their “white privilege.”
The student government of the University of Wisconsin-Madison unanimously passed on Wednesday a divestment resolution targeting companies operating in many countries that included an amendment specifically about Israel.
An amendment added to the one-page resolution, which Jewish students said brought the resolution more in line with the proposal that failed a month ago, blames Israel for police violence against African-Americans, citing an exchange program in which senior American police officers travel to Israel to learn about counterterrorism, the pro-Israel organization StandWithUS said in a statement. “The Jewish community is pleased that the event was canceled,” a spokeswoman for the Bonn Jewish community told The Jerusalem Post. Continue Reading »

Chatterjee writes the University Chancellor that he has been attacked, harassed, bullied and discriminated against by pro-Palestinian groups because he “refused to support anti-Semitic, anti-Israel activity” while the administration watched and even assisted on certain instances.

Every year, hundreds of pro-terror Hezbollah, Hamas and pro-Palestinian supporters march through London professing their hate unopposed, but this year the Israel Advocacy Movement planned a counter-protest.

Every year, hundreds of pro-terror Hamas, Hezbollah and Palestinian supporters march through London unopposed.
This year, the Israel Advocacy Movement had a great surprise for the protesters and it was epic.
Initially a handful of Zionist supporters stopped the progress of the hateful marchers in their tracks.
It was not not long afterwards that the terror supporting marchers were outnumbered by a sea of blue and white to counter the annual ‘Al Quds Day’ anti-Israel, pro-terror march in London. Continue Reading »

Things didn’t go quite as planned for a group of anti-Israel activists, who hoped to force the closure of an Israeli-owned shop in honor of “Nakba Day” – the day dedicated to mourning the failure of combined Arab armies to destroy the State of Israel at birth.
Several dozen members of the London Palestine Action organization targeted the Sabon cosmetics store on Sunday, mimicking campaigns by other anti-Israel boycotters – belonging to the so-called Boycott Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS) – to force the closure of businesses owned by Jewish Israelis. A pro-Israel professor won’t be on campus at Connecticut College when classes start Monday, missing the second straight semester since his 2014 Facebook post criticizing Hamas led to death threats and ostracism.
Andrew Pessin “requested and received a sabbatical for the Spring semester to continue his studies in Jewish philosophy and Israel studies,” Connecticut College spokeswoman Pamela Serfes said in an email last week. “He has been and continues to be a valued member of the Connecticut College faculty.” Continue Reading »

By Elior Levy
Pro-Palestinian Spanish activists posted photos online Wednesday, naked except for red clown noses in front of the West Bank separation barrier in Jerusalem, meant to show opposition to the wall dividing Israelis from Palestinians.

WATCH: American Jews united with Israel’s most extreme enemies are actively seeking to strip the world’s Jews of their inalienable right to self-determination in a Jewish State.
By Yitzhak Santis/JNS.org
Israel’s Channel 2 recently dedicated a full 15 minutes to the anti-Israel group Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP). Reporter Danny Kushmaro brought to an Israeli audience awareness of “the Jews that stand behind the boycott of Israel.” For me, a longtime “student” of JVP, as well as many Americans, there would be little surprise to hear the venomous rhetoric disgorged by JVP activists. For an Israeli audience that never heard of JVP, however, the reaction had to have been nothing short of shock and a profound sense of betrayal. Continue Reading »
